Morning had dawned on us and the sun had made its way through the material that made up the tent. I lay on my side my head still rested against Oli’s bare chest and I traced the lines of the few tattoos on his chest and stomach.
“Good morning” he said suddenly waking up
“Morning” I replied “It’s sad” I said after a few minutes coming to grips with reality
“What is love?” he asked
“We have to go home today” I said pouting and he kissed my pouted lips
“Hell” I replied touching his snake bites
“You know I really would have loved to see you with your lip pierced” he said completely changing the subject
“To bad Sykes” I replied biting at his bottom lip and he groaned into my mouth
“Get up you two” Pauline yelled
“No” I yelled back snuggling into Oli’s chest more kissing him several more times him running his hands up and down my body.
We laid there for a few minutes in peace and one seemed to interrupt us yea well that’s what I thought moments later one side of the tent was collapsing I screamed and Oli jumped, then we heard the giggles and chuckles from our supposed friends outside.
“You’re not supposed to put down the tent while we are still in it” Oli yelled out
“Well then I suggest you get out” Tom yelled back and I quickly jumped out of the sleeping bag and out the tent door leaving Oli to get all our stuff out.
Everyone was laughing except Oli and I who looked like we wanted to kill them.
We sat around what was left of our burnt out campfire the forward drive was packed and ready for us to leave but it didn’t seem like anyone actually wanted to go anywhere we were content with our little camp site away from judgment and reality.
“Come on guys we better get going” Tom said breaking our peaceful silence
This time Oli drove us home me sitting shot gun
“Lacey I don’t mean to sound rude or anything” came Alex’s voice “But I was wondering are you going to hang out with us at school tomorrow?” he asked and I turned in the front seat so that I could see everyone practically sitting on the edge of the window
“Honestly I don’t know” I replied a little confused myself as to what I was going to do
“I know it’s kind of hard and all but you are very welcome to hang out with us” Pauline reassured
“Thanks guys this has been the best weekend ever I mean I haven’t had this much fun in such a long time” I said honestly and everyone smiled up at me
“About school” I continued “I really don’t know what im going to do its more or less my parents that im worried about and just all the crap im going to get” I said sighing a little glumly
“Okay can you get back in the car your freaking me out a little?” Oli said and the rather intense conversation ended
I had been home for a little while now and my mother was nagging me about the way I looked
“You don’t have any makeup on and your hair just looks like you brushed your fingers through it and where on earth did you find that shirt?” my mother remarked.
I just went up to my room laying on my bed the fact was I didn’t have makeup on I had only brushed my fingers through my hair and I was wearing a Silverstein shirt that I had bought a while ago and hidden in the back of my closet. I had been laying on my bed for a while almost falling asleep a couple time Lucas had also come to join me playing with one of my stuffed toys peacefully laying on my bed with me. I was falling asleep for the fourth time when my phone started vibrate in my pocket
Opening the message, it was from Oli and read
“Hey love,
Come down to the field
I want to kiss you”
I replied
“You’re such a loser
Ill see you in 10”
“Hey Luke im going out I’ll be back a little later okay baby” I told him
“With Oli?” he asked in a whisper voice
“Yea baby but ssshhhh” I told him pressing a finger to his lips and he nodded
“Mum im going out ill be back soon” I yelled leaving
“Like that” I heard her yell but I didn’t reply
