It was about a week later and I was currently on the phone with Rob.
“Maylene, I have a question,” Rob stated.
“Okay…” I trailed off.
“Would you like to come out here to Seattle for a couple of days?”
“Are you serious?”
“Of course, love. I wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t serious.”
I smiled, “Duh.”
I could hear him chuckle and it made me smile even wider.
“Okay, I’ll get you the flight info and everything by tonight.”
“Mkay, sounds good.”
“I have to go now, so I’ll talk to you later. Bye love.”
I smiled, “Bye.”
I got up from my bed and headed down stairs.
“What’s got you so happy?” Jimmy asked from his seat at the table.
“I just got off the phone with Rob and he wants me to go to Seattle to see him,” I replied.
“What? Are you gonna go?” Jimmy asked.
“Hell yes,” I replied.
He just shook his head.
“What?”
“Nothing,” He replied and walked off.
“Fucker,” I muttered and grabbed a Monster out of the fridge. I walked back up stairs and accidently fell asleep for a little while before being woke up by Rob calling. My flight leaves tomorrow night at 5 pm.
This trip should be interesting. I thought as I started packing my bags. I made sure I had everything before I went back to sleep.
