Please Tell Me What We Have Is Real

Whoever She Is

Halloween is by far one of my most favorite holidays. When Brian and I were younger, we would trick or treat and then harass the neighbors. Now that we are older, we just party. Brian had decorated the whole house at the beginning of October, so all that we had to do was give out candy and then head over to Zacky's for Genas' party. I had made sure to hide my costume from Brian, just like he hid his when he finally got one this morning. Usually we try to go dressed alike, the them the same, but all of decided this year to do it differently and be random. Seeing as how I couldn't drink, I was basically playing cab driver tonight, real fun. Val, Leana and I decided to get ready over at Brian and I's house. That meant the guys would to. Gena decided that her and Zacky would at their home, and Johnny and Lacey no one heard from.It seemed like it would be a fun night.

"Hey baby, where did you put the candy?" Brian came walking in asking. See I had to hide it because the guys had come over after practicing and if they found it, it would have been gone.

"It's in the pantry behind the cereal boxes." He walked off muttering why would it be there, but that is why I knew they wouldn't find it. They're lazy.Just as I was about to go make sure he wasn't eating it himself, the doorbell rang. Which I either meant our friends were here or kids.

"Bri! Get the door."

"Okay!" Don't you love how we yell no matter what.It was everyone coming over to get ready. As they piled into the house, I told Brian that us girl's called our room, which he said was fine because his stuff was in one of the guest rooms. Because my bump had gotten bigger, I had to have the seam taken out yesterday on my costume, which I wasn't to happy about. When I told Brian, all he would say is your pregnant. Thanks for the reminder.

"I don't even want to touch your bed." Leana said shuttering.

"Shut up Le, I just washed everything this morning. Trust me it's clean." Val started laaughing, and we got to work getting ready. While I was doing Val's hair, we heard a thump and then an "Oh shit", followed by all the guys laughing.

"Think we should go check on them?" Val questioned. Just as I was about to answer, we heard an "We're okay", which answered my question.

"Knowing them, they were trying to do to many things at once." I said, which made us all laugh. I finished Val's hair and then started working on Leana's. After we did ur hair and then makeup, we put on our costumes and walked downstairs to wait for the guys to finish, which they should have been done way before us.Finally, the guys walked down the stairs, and one look at their costumes, had us laughing. Leana and Jimmy were polar opposites. Leana, Val and I were ready to go, so after dragging the guys out complaining that our costumes showed to much, we finally got in the car and drove the few blocks to Zacky's. When we got there we spotted Zacky and Johnny, Lacey and Gena along with the Berry's and Danny all dressed in Karate outfits. Next time, we are going back to being themed.

"Finally, now can I open my presents." We started laughing because Gena wanted her stuff so bad. I also noticed a familiar ring now resting on her ring finger. At least he did it before we came. Walking into the living room, I noticed that once again Zacky went overboard with decorating. After opening the presents we all got her, she finally announced that Zacky proposed, which all of us cheered at and then decided to party. Walking into the backyard, I noticed many familiar faces. From Cam to Sean, everyone was way decked out.As I was talking to Cam and his wife about the baby, I noticed Lacey looking at me weird, and with my weird moods I yelled "what!" at her which made her head my way.Great.

"What is your problem Chloe?" She asked me. Now I'm the one with the problem.

"Nothing, you were standing there giving me dirty looks. What the hell is wrong with you!" I noticed that people were watching us, but staying out of the way. Good choice.

"Your my problem, always bitching and complaining. I don't get why people talk to you.All you do is say that Brian need's to change, or your leaving. SO why are you still here?" Brian wasn't here to defend himself and I didn't feel the need to remind her that we were working it out, rather than walking away.

"Brian and I are none of your business Lacey, so mind your own business." I was getting pissed, and it was on the list of things to avoid. As she was about to reply, Val came into break us up.

"You guys, lets not do this here. It's Gena's birthday." I agreed with Val but as I was going to turn and go find Brian, Lacey told her:

"Shut up Val. No one likes you right now either." This is where I started to see red. I don't care what you say to me, but don't drag someone else into it.

"Shut the hell up Lacey, Val is one of the most caring, loving, honest people you will meet. So don't you dare say shit about her!"

"Make me." That put me over the edge. Just as I was about to lunge at her, I felt someone grab me around my chest, since they couldn't my waist and then smelt the cologne. Brian.

"What the fuck is going on out here? I come out here and all I see is Chloe ready to attack Lacey." Brian said. I couldn't focus on anything, even when Val and Leana explained what happened. I heard Johnny yelling at Lacey about getting an attitude adjustment, right before I felt the anxiety attack coming on.

I felt my chest tightening and everything getting blurry, and Matt yelling at Brian that I wasn't breathing. As if on cue, Brian turned me in his arms and placed my hand on his chest, telling me to breath to his heartbeat and count ot ten. After what finally felt like forever, I felt everything start slowing down, which meant I stopped panicking. I rested my forehead against Brian's chest as he told them that he was going to take me home since I was pregnant and way to stressed. After quick bye's and hugs to everyone, we gotin the car and drove the short distance to the house, all the while I had silent tears running down my face.

"I'm sorry Bri, I shouldn't have yelled at her." I sniffed out. He reached over the center and pulled me into a hug, then wiped my tears away with his thumbs.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, she started it and should have known no to get into someone else's personal business. You don't need to apologize." I just nodded and got out of the car, waiting for Brian to open the front door. No doubt I would hear about this tomorrow from Johnny. Joy.
