I skipped school today and went to see Gennie.
She's...
Well...she said she took a turn for the worst over the weekend...
My best friend....is dying....and there is nothing I can fucking do about it...
Her hair is completely gone now..
And her skin is really dry and dead from the chemo...she's dying really slowly from the inside out....
The worst thing about it though, seeing Gennie like this....hanging out like this with her is what she keeps saying....
"Do you remember Scar, what we used to say? We used to stay up at night and wonder, laugh, and giggle about how and when we where going to die....I guess I'm gonna beat you there huh?
Is this the punishment I get?
Is this the horror and heartbreak I get for having friends?
Are the voices right.....?
Is my life worth absolutely nothing to no one?
