Hope Begins to Fade Ch. 67- Run Baby Run

We all went down the street, got Daytona, and went to the bar. Mad Mike’s. The owner was my cousins ex. I loved him! He’s 6 years older than me but a great guy!

“Scar!” he hugged me when we entered. “And Avenged Sevenfold?”

“Hi!” Matt grinned, instantly liking that this guy knew his band.

“Hey, Mike.” They shook hands. “So, Scar. You came at the right time. Almost closing time.” I saw the place was almost empty.

Mike got everyone beers. Everyone but me and Daytona. We enjoyed some strawberry lemonade. Weird, I know, but we made the best out of it by attacking each other with straws. We’re weird might I add.

“So? Scar’s preggo?” Mike stated.

“Guilty.” I sighed.

“And the father?”

“Brian.” I pointed to him.

“How sweet!” he sighed.

Mike started talking to the guys about touring and all that fun shit. Soon, the place cleared out and I decided we should sing karaoke. We took turns randomly and even did random duets, just having fun.

Then I played a song we could all enjoy.

I grabbed the mic and sang into it…

I sang into the mic, dancing around with Jaz, Val and Daytona at first. The guys slowly came over to the stage and piled on with us and Jimmy grabbed the mic. We all sang the lyrics, randomly dancing with each other.

For the chorus, we all screamed the lyrics, just enjoying ourselves.

Brian pulled me into a passionate kiss and we pulled apart. I stared into his eyes…

We sang together with the rest of the guys. But I couldn’t help but look into his eyes from time to time. We’re in love! We’re starting a family! This is the best feeling I could possibly ever know…

Brian kissed me at the very end of the song and everyone cheered.

After a fun night, we all went home, Daytona shared the room with Jimmy for tonight so she said. I’m sure it’ll be longer!

I lay in Brian’s arms as he kissed me, reaching over to turn the light off.

Soon, I feel asleep soundly.

Brian’s POV

Tomorrow… That’s it.

Time to get some sleep.

I’m gonna need the rest.
