You Don't Need Superpowers

"Thanks!" Ann smiled before crashing.

"No problem." I whispered.

Ann and Tom have been up all night with the two. I needed a break from the cake decorating. In two days Saige and Gustav will be married. Harry, Saige, and Gustav have been out doing who knows what for about three hours. Miranda is in her room sleeping. So, I let Ann and Tom sleep while I watched the two little ones.

They are beautiful just like there parents. Rayla slept in my arms her little hand was against my chest. I smiled, I would love to have kids. But, I’m old fashion. Marriage first than babies.

“Bria?” A groggy Miranda asked while walking into the kitchen.

“Yeah?” I answered not moving my eyes from Rayla. I set her down in the crib I brought to the kitchen and picked up Riley who woke up.

“Um, there are people here that need to talk to you.” She said yawning.

Walking out I found Saige’s, well pieces, family.

“Um…I’m the flower girl.” Abi said.

“I know.” I whispered.

“I’m Kaitlin, the junior made of honor. Is he yours?” She asked walking over and grabbing his hand. His other hand grabbed my nose than my cheek. He always did this.

“I know. No, he is not mine. This is Miranda the maid of honor.” I gestured towards her.

“Nice to meet you!” Their mother said. “You must be Bria?” She asked walking over.

“Yeah, bride’s maid, cook, cake maker, and for right now babysitter.” I smiled. Walking back into the kitchen I set the now sleeping Riley down. Sighing I felt arms wrap around me.

“Your guys rooms are down the hall, it’s a power blue room.” Bill said. After they were gone I spun around in his arms to face him. “What’s got you down?” He asked.

I kissed him than set my head on his shoulder. “Everything.” I sighed.

“You’ll be okay.” He whispered. His fingers mingled with my hair before kissing the top on my head.
“I hope so.” I sighed. Kissing him again we didn’t let go until we had to breath. Catching my breath I added. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.” He smiled before kissing me again.
