Do It By Hand

Therapeutic Smiles

For the second day in a row I woke up feeling amazing, in more ways than one. I kept my eyes closed relishing in the feelings that were going through me. It was like waking up from a wonderfully vivid dream. I grinned to myself, then I heard a chuckle my eyes snapped open. I saw him there next to me, watching me sitting up on one elbow. I noticed it was still orange outside, so it had to be pretty early. He continued to grin as I stretched and scooted closer to him.

“Morning sunshine.” He murmured as he leaned down press his lips softly against mine.

“Morning to you as well.” I giggled I felt his grin grow against my lips.

“So what conclusions have you come to?” he sighed wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer.

“That you like moans, and biting.” I said playing with his bed hair.

“Only if I’m in a kinky mood.” He said rubbing his stubble covered chin on my arm making me laugh.

“I see, I’ll remember that next time, look for the signs of kinkiness.” I chuckled.

“You want to know what conclusion I came to about you?” he grinned wickedly as he started to move himself on top of me.

“What?”

“That you like it slow and gentle, but thorough.” He continued to grin, making me squirm.

“Depends on the mood I’m in.” I replied in the same tone he had.

“What mood are you in now then?”

“Figure it out.” I smiled putting my hands on his face pulling him towards mine.

It was kind of weird to be back home in Nebraska after being in Mexico for a week. What was even more weird was that my parents didn’t notice anything different about me except the fact that I had gotten 5 shades darker. My other friends excluding Gordan , did how ever notice more than the my bronzed skin.

“I would like details please.” Beil stated, she didn’t even bother to make it sound like a question. I glanced at Gordan assuming he told her everything I had said to him. He shrugged, we were sitting in out favorite diner that we normally go eat at to catch up. Us all being busy with work and or school.

“Well, um I didn’t give in as easily as you probably thought I would.” I sighed. She just raised her eyebrows.

“I thought he would be one of your band members that you would want to make babies with.” She grinned.

“Yes, but-I don’t know. It’s hard to explain, it’s not like one of those random hook-ups with a famous guy in a band.” I sighed

“Oh, so it’s like a real relationship then?” she asked as the waitress brought our drinks.

“I hope so, or I’ll feel like a retard.” I stated, I then saw the look on Gordan’s face, he was looking off in the other direction behind me. It was probably someone I didn’t want to be bothered with so I ordered my food.

“You sure you’re going to be able to eat all that?” I now realized that I wished I had looked up as to hide my face.

“Hey Cody.” Gordan said, trying not to laugh as I shot him a quick glare.

“Yes, I can, you of all people should know that.” I gave a smile; he wasn’t smiling. He must have noticed what everyone else noticed. “Besides it’s what I always eat.” I shrugged nonchalantly.

“I figured since you probably didn’t eat much while you were in Mexico-“

“Why wouldn’t I eat while I was in Mexico? That’s probably the best part about Mexico.” I said glancing at him, he didn’t reply, I could assume he was stumped. Or that it was on account of his order was ready for him to take back to his co-workers.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you later.” He half smiled and turned to grab his bag of food and left. I waited for him to be in his car and turned off onto the street to turn and give Gordan a dirty look.

“You told him?” I said through clenched teeth.”

“Not details, I just mentioned you were spending your spring break in Mexico.”

“What else.”

“And that you happened to be with a man.” He muttered.

“Whatever, it’s not like he and I were dating or anything like that.”

“He wanted to…” Gordan trailed off, Beil just looked confused. Probably one relationship I never told her about.

“Well, he should have tried a little harder.” I sighed starting to play with my straw wrapper.

“And Conor tried at all?” I glanced at Gordan who seemed to be getting irritated.

“Well being an outsider on most of this, the Conor fellow did fly her to Mexico. And made her pay for nothing.” Beil added trying to help, which by Gordan’s expression she was. My phone started to ring with the ring tone Conor had set for himself which was a Spongebob song.

“And my guess is that’s him calling her now.” She smiled triumphantly. I laughed, as did Gordan, who seemed to calm down. I got up to go answer my phone outside.

“Hello.” I smiled

“Hello yourself, what are you doing right now?” he chuckled from the other end.

“Having a catch up lunch with friends.” I stated, he sighed before replying.

“Do you think we could play catch up later?”

“I mean, I don’t know if there will much to catch up on. It’s only been 2 days.”

“You’ll see, I’ll pick you up at around 7:00.” I could hear his smile.

“Bye.” I laughed as I hung up and went back into the diner with Beil and Gordan. They both had knowing smiles on their faces.

“What?” I grinned.

“See that’s why she chose this Conor fellow.” Beil laughed, making Gordan laugh hysterically.
