Donald and Donna Way were killed in a car crash. The only survivors were their children, Michael and Gerard.

Fifteen years later, Gerard is a teaching assistant in a local high school. And he runs into a certain student, a boy named Mike Flynn. He knows who Mike really is, but does Mike?
