Admiration beyond hate

Emily Clairmont had lived alone in Paris, the city of love. She had been away from her family for 10 years now and they refuse to let her go back, not until the Empyrean head says so. Empyrean soldiers have always been guarding her, watching her every move. She has escaped them many times and yet she doesn't find peace in attending the hottest parties, getting proposals from men she doesn't speak to or even living the splendor lifestyle she's been born with.

Ralphe De Gaulle, her best friend , has a chunk of his heart attached to Emily. He's falling for her more than he should and she knows it. He knew that one person would come to ruin everything but until he comes, Ralphe decides to keep her safe.
