The Beginning of Forever

Not Another One

GUYS, PLEASE READ THE AUTHOR'S NOTE

*Mimi’s POV*

I burst into the hospital building and walked up to the front desk. The lady sitting there certainly looked like a receptionist. She had her bright red hair up in a messy bun, and brightly colored reading glasses that hid her extravagantly colored eye lids.

“I’m looking for my sister, Amber Lace.”

“Amber Lace?”

“Yes. That is what I said. Amber Lace.”

“Okay.” She started to flip through her book with all the patients in it. She took just looked at a page for five minutes. “Okay Amber Lace is in room 313. You can take the elevator up to the third floor. Room 313 should be the seventh door on the left.”

“Thanks.” I ran to the elevator closest to the desk. I pushed the button once. It didn’t light up, so I stood back thinking it was just going to open up. It didn’t. I pushed the button again. I pushed the button multiple times. “Miss? I forgot to tell you about that. That elevator isn’t working.” I heaved a frustrated sigh. “The stairs are just around the corner.” I ran around the corner. Just as I had the elevator door opened and a guy in an electrical suit came out with a tool box.

“See you, Phyllis.” He said.

“Later, Joe.” By this time, I already thought it useless to go on the elevator. I just ran up the stairs. I counted the rooms on my left. Once I got to the seventh one, I burst the door open.

“Amber.” I sighed.

“Hey Amelia. How’s it going?”

“Whatever. Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.”

“You’ve got a huge gash in your arm.” I said pointing to the brace on her arm. She waved it and scoffed.

“It’s no big deal. Leah,” she pointed to the girl on the other side of the bed. “said she was sorry.” I glared at her. She nudged her head to the guy in the chair. My glare turned to him. I thought I’ve seen him with Rory a few times. “I’m just glad Seth got there like ten minutes later. He ran me to the hospital.”

“Are you sure that’s all that happened?” Seth stood up from the chair.

“That’s all that happened. Promise.” I stared at him. How could he promise something so easily when he barely knew me. There was something they weren’t telling me. I didn’t like it.

“Amelia, I’m fine. I swear. Everything is cool.”

“Amber, you have at least thirty stitches in your arm right now! How could that be fine and cool?!” my hands were shaking that I was so angry with these people. I didn’t like having to move here.

“Are you okay?” Amber asked, staring at my hands. I picked them up in front of my face. I looked at Seth his eyes were wide.

“Amelia, I’m going to need you to calm down.” He said calmly. But his face was far from calm.

“Calm down?! How can I calm down knowing that your sister hurt mine.” My glare at him intensified.

“Listen to him.” I turned to Amber. “You’re shaking like mad.”

“Seth, get her out of here!” Leah shouted. Seth ran over, picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I punched his back, over and over. I ended up hurting myself, but that didn’t stop me.

“Put me down!” I screamed.

“I can’t do that. You can’t do this. Not here.” He ran from the room. He didn’t take the elevator or the stairs. He walked to the end of the hall and opened the window. He stood on the window sill. “You flailing around will not help me land.”

“Land? Where in God’s name to you plan on landing!” he looked down.
“Are you crazy?! We’re on the third floor! Are you trying to kill us?!”

“I won’t kill you. You just have to trust me.” He jumped from the building and I grabbed on to his shirt. I screamed. Even when he was safely on the ground I screamed. There was a sharp pain growing throughout my entire body. I closed my eyes feeling the tears run down. “I really hope you didn’t like these clothes.” I heard Seth say over me screaming. I tried to ask why, but I couldn’t say anything. It hurt to much to even breath. Then, I felt the cold ground beneath on my back. He must have finally put me down. I couldn’t get up.

“Mimi?”

You have no right to call me Mimi! I thought in my head.

“I’m sorry, Amelia.” Did he seriously just hear me? “Yeah, I heard you. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, I have something I have to tell you.” I groaned from the pain. What on earth could he have to tell me now? “You’re a werewolf.” How could he—?

I heard the sound of cloth tearing and my skin was being pulled in many different directions. My scream turned into a howl. The pain was gone. But when I looked down at my hands, I noticed that they were now paws.

Yes, another one. Amazing isn't it? How I can add a character whenever I want. I love the feeling of being an author. To create your own world. Or in this case, add on to someone else's, i.e. Stephenie Meyer's.

Here it is Mimi. I know it's really later than I usually post, but I've been busy all day today. Then when I actually try to post, the internet isn't working. Luv u! Miss u! See u Tuesday!

Anyways, thank you guys who read. Sorry I haven't been typing in Notes to you guys. I miss it. IDK why. But I do. I've just been fairly busy. And I started a new story. I just posted it. It's got nothing to do with Twilight or Harry Potter. Weird, huh? Anyway, in all its seriousness, I have been told my a numerous amount of my friends that it's awesome. Hopefully you guys will, too. You don't have to religiously stick to it, but please do me the awesomest favor you could and at least read it and tell me what you think. It's called Thursdays At Six

Thanks, guys.
