Dad's Approval
I got up and went to the locker room and changed. I left early and went home cause I didn’t want to do it with Frankie but he was the only one I felt comfortable with besides Mikey but I couldn’t ask him. My mom was actually home today so was my dad so we talked about the way I was acting lately. I have been quiet I haven’t talked to anyone for awhile. My dad knew something was wrong and I just wasn’t telling him.
“I wanna go to bed now” I said even though it was only 7. I went to my room locked the door and called Frankie.
“Hey Frankie” I said
“Hey waz up Nat” he said
“Um not much can you come over to my house I need to talk to you”
“Yea I’ll be there in ten minutes”
“Ok but don’t knock on the front door go by my window and I’ll drop you my rope ladder” I said quietly
“Why can’t I use the door” he asked
“Cause my parents think I’m sleeping”
“Oh ok I’ll call you when I’m outside” he said and hung up. I just really needed to see him. Maybe if I saw him I wouldn’t feel like I was alone. I know just cause I’m popular doesn’t mean shit I still feel alone cause again I don’t have a boyfriend. I know I’m making a big deal about this but its just how I feel. My phone rang and so I went to my window and saw Frankie I dropped the ladder and he climbed up. When he got in I hugged him
“What’s wrong” he asked
“Nothing I just needed to see you” I said taking in his scent
“Ok” he said
“And I heard a song off of one of my cds and it made me think of you” I said remembering what I was listening to earlier
“What song is that” he asked
“Take Me its by Hawk Nelson” I said
“Woh! Like take me as in…” he started but stopped himself
“No listen to it” I said playing it for him
“Oh you wanted to see my face tonight”
“Yea” I said pulling him close to me and hugging him he kissed my forehead and then my dad knocked on the door.
“Cupcake can I talk to you” he said
“Um.. yea hold on.” I said and then looked at Frankie
“Frankie get in my closet” I whispered to him
“Ok” he said and went in my closet and then I opened my door for my dad to come in.
“Natasha what’s wrong” he said in a concerned voice
“ I keep having a bad dream” I said and I explained it to him
“And on top of that I think I’m starting to like one of my friends” I said forgetting Frankie was in the closet.
“Oh who” he asked
“Well its actually 2 of my friends Mikey and Frankie”
“Oh and why aren’t you hanging out with them anymore” he asked
“Cause I don’t want to have feelings for them cause if I start dating one of them it would be weird if we broke up.”
“Well you’ll never know and the only advise I can give you is to just try and be there friend and if it gets serious with one of them and you break up try and stay friends don’t let something screw up your friendship. And its a good thing its one of those boys cause I actually like them they seem really nice” he said and gave me a kiss on my forehead and left. I locked the door again and laid on my bed and closed my eyes. I felt the bed move and I opened my eyes to see Frankie.
“Omg I totally forgot you were here” I said sitting up
“Oh thanks” he said
“Um…. So yea did you like that song I played for you” I asked hoping he didn’t hear what me and my dad where talking about.
“Yea that can be our song” he said smiling
“Our song?” I asked
“Yea like when ever we are together we can listen to it and when ever we call each other I’ll sing it to you”
“Aww that’s so sweet” I said hugging him then the there was a clap of thunder and there was lighting I squealed and jumped under the covers.
“Aww my baby’s still afraid of thunderstorms” Frankie said
“Shut up” I said through the blanket then Frankie pulled the blanket off of my head.
“Hey I’m here your safe” he said and then the power went out and I screamed and grabbed Frankie and pulled him towards me and held onto him tight. My dad ran upstairs to see if I was ok.
“Yea dad I’m fine its gonna help me sleep” I said lying to him
“Ok well were gonna be in the kitchen if you need us” he said and left and even though there was no power I looked at Frankie.
“Spend the night please”
“Ok I love staying at your house” he said smiling
“I love it when you stay at my house” I said kissing him. I turned so I was on my back and I was staring at the ceiling when Frankie rolled on top of me and started kissing me. We got into it and we only broke apart when he took my shirt off and when I took his off. And as he started to unbuckle my pants I freaked and pushed him off of me.
“I can’t do this” I said grabbing my shirt and putting it on
“Ok I’m sorry it was to fast wasn’t it” he asked
“Yea just a bit” I said
“Well how bout this ….will you be my girlfriend” he asked I was shocked he asked me but I was supper excited that someone asked me.
“Yes yes Frankie I’d love to be your girlfriend” I said kissing him and he smiled into the kiss.
