Chapter 95
We walked into Rays apartment. Kasey walked over to them and they all had a look of shock to see me out of the house.
“hi guys” I said not really happy and not really sad.
“we have something to tell you” Kasey said
“wait were is Hayley” ray asked
“that’s what this is about” I said
“what happened” Ray asked
“well we were at the bank getting money out of Hayley’s account and this guy came in……” Kasey said
“and took Hayley hostage and wanted the money from the bank and the teller wouldn’t give him the money so…” I said helping Kasey out a bit
“so Nat jumped over the counter and beat the shit out of the teller and while she was doing that the guy shot Hayley” Kasey said quickly
“is she alright” ray said
“um so Kasey called 911 and they got there but she had already lost a lot of blood…….” I said and this time I was trying to hold back the tears
“she died ray I’m sorry” Kasey said and then ray broke down and cried. I have never seen him cry before and it was painful. I still didn’t cry and frank got up and hugged me and Bert got up and hugged Kasey. After frank hugged me I went over to ray and hugged him. I felt so bad that he lost the love of his life. He started crying and I held mine back. I needed to be strong for ray. The cops stopped by rays house and me and Kasey told them everything about what had happen. We gave him the details of the man and they left. we were to go get the body at the morgue.
“you know what ray I’ll go get it and you stay here with Bert and Frank and Kasey” I said
“hey I’m going with you” Kasey said
“me to” frank said
“frank its ok you don’t need to come I can handle this” I said
“no you can't maybe you should stay here and me and Bert will go get the body” frank said
“no frank me and Kasey will cause we can deal with it now and you know that if you see a dead body with a hole in there head your gonna throw up so your staying” I said
“fine” he said and sat down on the couch and crossed his arms and had a mad look on his face.
“hold on Kasey” I said and walked over to frank and sat on him.
“frank I can deal with this I haven’t cried yet” I said
“but your gonna I know you Nat”
“and I know you just let me go and you make sure ray doesn’t do anything bad ok”
“ok but we need to talk about this when you get home ok” he said
“ok” I said and kissed him and me and Kasey left and went to the morgue. We found Hayley’s body and we took it to the funeral home and had them clean her up so that you couldn’t see the bullet hole in her head and the funeral was planned to be in 3 days. After we left the body and the funeral home we went back to rays to see that the door was wide open. we walked in quietly and no one was inside we looked around the house and I found a note on the kitchen table.
Nat and Kasey
we ran after ray because he was screaming about killing himself or something like that just go to either of your houses and we will see you in a few hopefully.
Bert and Frank
When we read that we ran out the door and we decided to look for them because we knew something was gonna happen and we needed to stop ray before he killed himself.
