Dawning to Death
“ How can you do this to me, I am the only one you loved your whole life and you betrayed me!” I shouted in his face. “ I’m sorry but I can’t stay with you anymore” he says as he kissed me for the very last time, and disappears into the forest. I stood there waiting, just waiting for him to come back to me and say sorry, but as he said before he left “ I can’t be with you anymore…..”
Life is painful when someone dear to you is gone forever. For Melanie, her life has been a painful struggle, for everyone she loved including her friends and family has gone and all she is left with is her memories.
As Melanie starts her new life in Lakewood, with her deaf, blind grandpa and her half-famous step-mum.
She is faced with a decision of either going to find the cause of her family’s death or either going out with a mysterious young teenager who hides his real identity.
