Blood Soaked Black Rose

Thirteen Years Later

Thirteen Years Later
Zakky’s POV
“Fuck you bitch! I hate you!” I heard Krystal screaming. Eddie had just busted her smoking weed with her friends. I personally didn’t mind it. I mean, I’d tried it. That’s all she was doing. Krystal came into the room and hugged me.
“Hey, Krys?”
“Yeah?” She said looking at me.
“Don’t talk to him like that okay?”
“Why? Daddy, he never wanted me. He likes the fucking twins, but not me. Why did you never have a girl?”
“I can’t determine that.” I said brushing the tears off her face. “You need to go. You’ll be late for school.” She grabbed her keys. “Hey, Em, Ren, come on.” Emery and Aubren hugged me and ran out after their sister. I closed my eyes. Now it was time for the fun. I went to our room to get ready for work. I was a makeup artist. Eddie was laying on our bed.
“Why does she hate me so much?” He whispered.
“Because you deserve it.” I offered icily. I still half hated him for everything that happened all those years ago.
“Sorry okay? How many times can I say that?”
“I don’t know. How about until you can take away all the pain?” I said. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
“I hate what I did to you.” He took my arm in his hands and kissed the nasty scars. He held me to him. “I hate that I made you such a wreck. I hate that I made you have problems. I hate it. I hate mostly the way I’ve damaged our daughter.”
“Eddie, you never held her or talk to her. Never. You just instantly took the twins in, but left her out in the cold, pouring rain.” I pushed the hair out of my eyes. It was right down to my jaw line in the front. He kissed my neck.
“Come on. Let’s have sex.” I turned and kissed him passionately.
“No.”
“Why? You’re acting like you’re too old! You’re 35.”
“So? I have to work. That’s something I got in the habit of. I have to make money.”
“Yeah, I remember you even sold your sexiness as a way for the green.”
“Mhm.” I said. “But Matthew helped. He got me out. He was damage control.”
“You work with him. I don’t like it. You also work with that Scotty guy.”
“They’re very nice. They got married. They have a sweet little boy they adopted that’s the boys’ age.”
“Oh? What’s his name?”
“Uh, I think his name is Nevin.” He kissed me. “Hey, babe, I have to go.”
“Fine. I’ll see you later. You will pay for making me wait!”
“Just don’t do what we talked about.” I quickly kissed him and we headed to work.

Kryssi’s POV
I sat at my desk quietly thinking. I hate him being here. At this school. I hated it. He was stupid. Who cared what the fuck my “father” did for a stupid living? He didn’t matter. He made Daddy cry. He didn’t want me. He made me feel like shit. He treated Emery and Aubren wonderfully. He loved them. Not that I cared. I personally loved my brothers. They deserved love. I never held it against them that they had Daddy and Eddie who cared.
“Krystal, is that your dad?” A boy named Aiden asked.
“He’s an asshole.”
“Hey, don’t get so hissy. I was only asking.” I sighed.
“Yeah.” I liked Aiden. He was my best friend. My only real friend. The only one who’d put up with my depression that had been caused by the man in the front of our class talking about what it meant to be a musician. What it was like touring. I didn’t care. I hated him. I didn’t care that every punk/emo/scene/Goth/rocker/skater type kid in the school was obsessed with Ashes Fall Home. What did it matter?
“Krys?” I looked back at Aiden.
“What?”
“You want to eat by the tree today?”
“Um, yeah.” I smiled. Aiden had blonde hair that fell in front of his left eye. He had pretty green eyes. He always wore tight jeans. Mostly mine I given or loaned or just forgot at his house. He slid down in his chair and hid in his hoodie.
“So you’re the lead singer for Ashes Fall Home?” A kid named Kaleb asked. He was pretty much the last of the Goth kids. I was happy to be the daughter of a Goth. It made me so happy.
“Yeah.” His annoying voice said.
“Are you gay?” Someone asked. I didn’t see who. I didn’t really care.
“Yes I am.”
“Do you like, fuck guys?” A prep asked.
“Uh, yes, but I don’t think that was an appropriate question.” That’s it.
“Why do you even care? Why would you answer it if it were inappropriate? She should know. I mean you’re gay and married. Technically you fuck neither a man nor a woman. And why the heck do you have to come and talk about yourself for an hour?”
“Ms. Carson, please calm down.” My teacher said.
“Well, because. I just…” I smirked at my desk. I got him there. I loved tongue tying my fucking “father.” He sighed and began talking again. I didn’t really see the point. Him being here. What was them knowing this so important? Finally the bell rang and released us from me having to stay in the same room as him. I ran out ignoring Eddie calling me.
“Hey Krystal?” My teacher called. I stopped and walked over toher.
“Your father is here.”
“I don’t want to talk to him.” I sighed.
“No, sweetie, not Eddie.” I saw my daddy. I hugged him tight.
“Hey.” I looked up at him. He was so wonderful. I didn’t care that people said my daddy looked like a fucking chick. I knew he wasn’t.
“How are you doing?”
“I'm okay. What are you doing here?”
“I’m on lunch and Eddie wanted me to go to lunch with him.”
“Oh…”
“Yeah. Bye. I love you.” He kissed my cheek and walked away. I went to go find Aiden.
