We ended choosing a drop dead dress. It was a blood red covered in gold decorations. I loved it. I walked back to my room humming to myself. I opened the door to my room and an outfit and a note were lying on my bed.

I love mystery as much as the next girl, but wasn’t having to marry a freaky European vampire enough? I showered and dressed in the baby blue dress he had for me. I fixed my hair and makeup and paced my room impatiently, I hate waiting. Finally, I heard the knock on my door. I checked my make-up one last time and answered.
Don stood there holding a single red rose, “Sorry I kept you waiting.”
I took the rose and placed it behind my ear, “It wasn’t a wait at all.”
He took my hand and kissed it, “Blue is definitely your color.”
“Every color is my color.”
He took my hand into his, “I wanna take you somewhere.”
“Where?”
“It’s a surprise.”
“I hate surprises.”
He lead me outside onto the beach were there was a small candlelit dining table.
“Oh gosh it’s beautiful.”
He pulled out my chair,” Not as beautiful as you.”
“Why did you do this?”
“You wanted to have a real date so…”
“This is the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me.”
He watched while I ate,” Are you sure you don’t want any?”
“I’m fine.”
“I have a question to ask,” I wiped my mouth on my napkin, “Your mom said something about my dad…”
“My mother she can be a bit of…”
“A totally bitch?”
“I was going to say blabbermouth.”

I thought back,” Not really.”

“My father got him out of the situation and in return he gave over you.”
I closed my eyes,” That dirty bastard traded me off.”
“It’s not like that.”
“Don’t try and sugar coat it, it is what it is.”
“I’m sorry.”
“You didn’t do anything.”
“Thank you, for taking me on that date, it made me feel much better about this whole thing.”
“Thank you, I had to say I was nervous, it’s been a couple of hundred years since I’ve taken a girl out.”
I looked at him strangely, “No way you look like 21.”
He laughed and ran his hands through his hair, “I’ve been for quite some time.”
“How long?”
“Oh maybe 500 hundred years.”

“I didn’t hunt you down,”
“That’s what you say,” I teased.
We stopped in front of my room door,” So this is good-night.”
“Yeah, I need my beauty sleep.”
“I’m sure you’d be just as beautiful without it.”
He leaned in and kiss me lightly on my lips. It sent electric shivers up and down my spine.
“Good night.”
He turned to walk away and I grabbed his arm and turned him to face me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips against his. He resisted at first, but then started to kiss my back. He bit my lip asking for entrance and I opened my mouth against his. His tongue searched my mouth. I wrapped my legs against his waist.
“Open the door,” he murmured against my lips. I twisted the knob still trying to keep our lips together. We fell onto the bed still tangled in each other. His lips cascaded down my neck while his hands traveled along my body tracing up and down my legs. Never has a guy touching me felt so just good. I let out moans of complete pleasure and ecstasy. He ran his lips up and down my neck stopping to kiss my collarbone.
Was I really going to sleep with him? I still didn’t know him ALL that well, but it was like it was unstoppable.
“We need to stop.”
“What?”
He sat up “We need to stop.”
I sat up as well;” I thought you were enjoying this.”
“I was,”
“But?”
“It’s not you…”
I groaned,” Ugh don’t finish it.”
I closed my eyes;” If it’s not me then what is it?”
I opened one of my eyes to look at him. He was trying to discreetly hide the budge in his pants. So it wasn’t me.
“It’s complicated.”
I rolled my eyes,” Sure.”
“I’m sorry Kelsi.” He walked out and closed the door behind him.
I changed into my pjs and sat in front my computer screen. As usually when I signed on to Im Kerli was already on. That girl is like a freaking bat.
