Right. I've been out of the loop as far as writing goes and have been for a while. I've lost my mojo here guys. So I decided to enter this little ditty into CandyFloss!'s 'I Give You A Sentence, You Give Me A Story' contest. My sentence was It was due to start at any minute, the screams and the massacre that was all my fault. I'll admit I did have some trouble with it, but I did what I could.
This story is actually a continuation of a previous one-shot I've written, Nobody Knows but it is not necessary to read that to follow this, as this takes place roughly sixteen years later.

A young teenage girl is taken captive by a desperate couple.
One half of the couple is more connected to her than the girl realises.
That half of the couple is also less stable than he himself realises.
