D and I went out that night. I guess you could call it a date. That’s what I called it.
“So what do you want to do now?” I asked her
“I don’t care, anything”
“Alright” I said and we went back to my house
We didn’t really say much to each other, we sat on the couch and I broke the silence
“So… I really want to make this work D” I told her and she looked at me
“I want to make this work too Nick” she told me
“Alright then this is going to work” I said, she smiled
“You don’t know how bad I want to kiss you right now” I told her.
“Then kiss me”
I leaned in to kiss her, I put my hand on her cheek, our lips were inches away from each other when the doorbell rang.
I sighed, “Hold on” I told her and I answered the door. I was surprised who was standing at the door.
“Kelsey what are you doing here?” I asked her
“Well nice to see you too baby” She said and she leaned in to kiss me but I turned my head
“Kelse, what are you” She walked in the door, past me, “Uh yeah sure come in” I said and I closed the door
I put my hand on her lower back and guided her to the living room “Uh D this is Kelsey…” I said, she stood up and shook hands with my ‘girlfriend’
“Hi” she said
“Kelsey this is D, my best friend” I said while swallowing as hard as I could.
“Nice to meet you” D said
“You too” Kelsey said back to her, D put her eyes on me
“Well I should get going now, see you later Nick” She said as she headed for the door
Damn.
“Uh Kelsey, I’m going to talk to D really fast, so you can just uh take a seat and I’ll be back in a sec” I told her
“Okay” she said as she sat on the couch and I followed D outside and shut the door
“I’m so sorry” I said “I didn’t know she was coming”
D grabbed me by my jacket and kissed me
“Nick it’s alright” she told me and I sighed
“Can we still make this work, even with her here?” I asked her
“We can try” She said with a smile.
“Good” I said
“Mhmm, I’ll text you” She said and she began to leave and I grabbed her arm
“Hey I want to see you tomorrow” I said
“Maybe” she said with a smirk and she left.
I already missed her.
Kelsey kissed me. Her kisses were nothing like D’s and I liked D’s better.
"We have an extra room you can stay in"
"Why can't I just sleep with you Nicky?" She asked
I felt so awkward
"Oh right" I muttered as I showed her the way to my room. She placed all of her bags on the floor and immediately changed into pajamas. I too decided it was time for bed and I hopped on my side. Kelsey immediately was all over me. Once her hands made it to my boxers I stopped her.
"Kelse, I'm really tired, not tonight babe"
She huffed and turned away from me. It wasn't until she was sound asleep that I decided to text her.
