Jason padded into his room to see me lying on the floor, an arm wrapped around my stomach and the other around Booker. He eyed the hand lying across my stomach and the tears on my face. I winced in pain after every breath I took.

Then his eyes widened. “He hit you.” He whispered.

Tears stung my eyes again, spilling over as I closed my eyes tight. “Kicked me while I was down.” I muttered. My lip quavered and my stomach tightened, causing my broken rib to move. I whimpered.

He kneeled down next to me. “Lemme see.” He mumbled. I bit my lip, then slowly removed my hand. He peeled my shirt up slowly. He let my shirt fall back against me and shook his head. “He will never stop.” He muttered.

I winced as his fingers lightly brushed my side.

“It’s not broken. Just cracked.” He told me, as if he were my own personal doctor.

“Um, excuse me, Dr. Drescher.” I chuckled, and then recoiled as the action moved my rib.

He rolled his eyes, still worried and angry, and then gave me a small smile. “Yes my one and only patient?” He replied.

“How can we fix it without going to the hospital?” I asked.

He ‘hmm’-ed and then stood. “I’ll be back.” He said, then stared wordlessly at my side for a moment, before shaking his head and leaving.

Jase P.O.V.

The good for nothing, pain bringing, ungodly, son of a bitch, loser, gut wrenching actor of a dumbass was still causing people in my life pain and suffering.

I’m going to kill him.

Hey y'all!
We just want to give a little apology for not having written in forever!
We've both been super busy.
I know, I know.
"Autumn, you've been posting on Running!"
I know, Sorry. That story flows better.
I was stuck on this one.
This chapter is short, and suckish.
IM SORRY!

I STILL LOVE YOU!
Want a cookie?

Much Love,
AutumnCaroline
