Teenagers

Chapter One: My Chemical Romance: My Idols

I walked down the street toward my school. Kyle, Robert and Oliver ran up to me as I played Teenagers on my iPod. I glanced back at the orphanage, hating the fact that I had to go back there. I felt guilty, I was the only orphan with money and yet I was the unhappiest.

“Hey, you there?” Oliver asked.

“Sorry, just thinking,” I laughed.

“Don’t we do enough of that school?” Kyle joked as he grabbed my iPod.

“MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE-NOT YOURS,” I yelled, punching him in the arm. He handed it over as we laughed. No one steals my iPod. Especially when I’m listening to My Chemical Romance, my idols. We walked along as I glanced at my uniform. Blue plaid skirt with a white blouse. EW. I listened as Kyle and Oliver argued about baseball.

“Jocks,” I laughed
“Prep,” They snapped.

“Go to Hell and send me a post card,” I told them.

“Last night’s party RULED,” Robert said.

“Yeah, but I say next time we party on a weekend. I hate coming back to school after only an hour of sleep and who knows how long drinking,” Kyle laughed. We nodded in agreement and stopped dead.

“Is that?”

“It couldn’t be.”

“Someone pinch me.”

“Look where they’re heading.”

“The orphanage.”
