Oil Scripture
Mat Devine is an art student in the Chicago University of Art. As a project he must choose an artist to study on from a list, a list compiled of some of the greatest and most well known artists. But along with great artists, there are those that are under the radar, completely unknown and yet to make a name for themselves.
Persia Hallaway is the last artist.
What Mat doesn't realise is that there is more to a painting than just the mediums which are used, like him, Persia lives and breathes art and through her paintings she tells her story of heartbreak and survival.
