Can You Hear Me?

“Jessica, why won’t you sing to me? Amy says your voice is beautiful.” Mason pleaded over and over. I sighed.
“Well I can’t if I’m lying on top of you and you can‘t even hear me.” He smiled and pulled us both up on the couch.
“I can feel your voice your’s is special. What song are you singing?”
“Train Wreck by Demi Lovato.”
“When are you going to sing?”
“In a second, I’m starting to believe your related to Amy.” I laughed before readying myself. As he pouted.
“You fled from medication cause it only causes pain. You won’t go to the doctor he’s calling you insane. You’re lost even when your going the right way. You mean the world to me even though you might be crazy.” I put my hand on his heart. He grinned feeling loved. “And you said we wouldn’t make it, but look how far we’ve come. For so long my heart was breaking, but now we’re standing strong. The things you say make me fall harder each day. You’re a train wreck, but I wouldn’t love you if you changed. Oh yeah.” He laughed and I hid my head in my hands. He begged me to continue. “I shook your hand and you pulled it right away. You asked me to dance and instead I said ‘no way!’ Inside I was dying to give it a try and you begged me,” That’s a tiny bit ironic. “So I stayed. I knew you were different from the way I caved. And you said we wouldn’t make it, but look how far we’ve come. For so long my heart was breaking, but now we’re standing strong. The things you say make me fall harder each day. You’re a train wreck, but I wouldn’t love you if you changed. Oh yeah.” He put his hand on my chest feeling the music better. I put my hand on his holding it there. “We were so different, but opposites attract. So my hope kept growing I never looked back. You’re one of a kind and no one can change this heart of mine. “I loved it!” He followed looking suspicious.
“You couldn’t hear anything could you?” I asked like I knew.
“Nothing. Why did this happen to me? He fell back on to the couch. I got back on top of him.
“So you could find me, Mason.” I kissed his cheek. “You belong with me. Maybe this was the only way.”
