Old Habits Die Hard

Ugh, boys.

"Bekah, can you turn this up please? It's my jam!" I heard Amanda squeal when one of her obnoxious, ridiculous songs came on. I gotta admit though, they were pretty catchy sometimes.

While Manda was in the backseat, sprawled out on it singing and tapping her fingers against her thighs, I waited for Bobby to ask the inevitable question. Which it finally did come after the song was finished. "So what's the deal with you and Dean?" I watched Bobby out the corner of my eye reach over and turn down the music that was now barely audible. I couldn't help but roll my eyes slightly when I heard Amanda snort loudly.

"Nothing, we just don't get along apparently. I'm not a fan of his snarky attitude." I heard Amanda chuckle and I looked in the rear view mirror to see her shaking her head at me, "what?"

"Snarky attitude? You've been nothing but a bitch to him since we met at the gas station, no wonder he has an attitude with you..he's pretty nice to me." I rolled my eyes at her, and decided to ignore her comment. Bobby let out a loud sigh and looked out the window.

"You gotta give him a break Rebekah, he's been through a lot recently." I wanted to say something bitchy back, but I just shook my head at Bobby and bit my tongue. Bobby knows his story more than I do, I shouldn't yell at Bobby for trying to defend his friend.

But I did anyway.

“Okay, so he’s been to hell and back, literally, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be nicey-nice to him all the time… The day I start being nice to Dean Winchester more then not, is the day the apocalypse happens.” I said glancing over at Bobby, and he just shook his head.

"The day you're nice to anyone will bring the apocalypse…” Amanda said now sitting her head in-between me and Bobby.

I glared at her, “fuck you!”

“Such vulgar language! If mom was here to hear that nasty mouth of yours...tsk tsk.” She replied sarcastically. I seriously was about to punch her nose in.

“Would you two cut it out!” Bobby exclaimed at the two of us, causing Amanda to giggle.

“I should have made you ride with Sam and Dean.” I said ignoring Bobby, which was probably a bad idea, but at this point I was to pissed off at everything to care.

"Bobby, do you want to drive? I'm tired." I didn't particularly like when other people drove my car, but there was no way in hell I was letting Amanda get behind the wheel. We'd all be dead in less than an hour.

I turned my right signal on to let Dean and Sam know that we were pulling over. Once the car stopped, Bobby got out and walked around the front of the car towards the driver's door. I just climbed over the seat and sat in the passenger's, I heard Amanda scoff and roll her eyes.

"I can drive you know." She slightly whined, and in return got a glare and a middle finger from me. I trusted Bobby more with my baby Sheila than my own sister, that's pretty bad.

After Bobby started the ignition again and drove off into the direction we were heading in, I felt my eyelids become heavy and a loud yawn escaped my mouth.

The last thing I heard before falling in a deep sleep was Amanda singing her favorite song; Hero.

It seemed like I had only closed my eyes for about ten minutes when a loud thump jerked me awake. I groaned and looked out the window to see Dean standing there looking in with his hand resting on the roof of my car with a smirk across his lips.

That is one face I do not wanna wake up to and not only that, at that moment have I ever wanted to mess up his face so badly.

“Wake up sunshine, we have a psychic to see,” He said hitting my car one more time before walking away, and that’s when I realized I was in the car by myself.

I groaned annoyed and got out of the car to see everyone standing on the front porch waiting for me. Why they didn’t wake me up when we first got here I don’t know. But I’ll tell you one thing, Dean waking me up, not a good idea on their part. It was probably Amanda’s idea anyways, with Bobby knowing I would probably hurt him in some way or another.

“Is there a reason you left me asleep in the car?” I asked as I walked up the steps.

"You're a bitch when you wake up. I thought you should have a new face to smack.” Amanda said with a innocent smile.

“So you send me over there?” Dean asked with an annoyed look at my sister.

She flashed him the same smile, “I figured she would get it out of her system, then she wouldn’t think about messing your face up all the time.”

“Stay out of my head,” I hissed at her, causing the woman we were standing with to laugh before she spoke.

“Now that comment is just what I wanted to talk to you two about.” She said motioning us into the house, “come on in and we’ll have a quick chat before we find out who dragged him out of hell.”

“By the way that’s Pam,” Amanda whispered to me as we followed her into the house.

“Now, you boys make your self comfortable here while I talk to them for a minute.” She said before walking away.

Amanda and I followed Pam into the backroom away from the men. She motioned us to sit on a small couch, while she sat on a wooden chair across from us. "Well, you two definitely have a connection."

We just stared at her, how the hell could she tell? Well..besides being a psychic.. We've met psychics before but they never realized we could communicate through our heads.

"How can you tell?" Amanda asked, which brought a small smile onto the woman's face.

"Being a psychic has its advantages." She chuckled slightly and continued to talk. "I could just sense a small release of energy from Amanda while you were sleeping Rebekah. And when you walked up those steps, that energy increased. It's the strongest when you two are together. It's a bond you'll always have, and it'll help you when you're in peril. Always let it in, always listen to it." We watched her stand up and push the chair under the table.

"Let's go before Dean comes barging in here like a hell beast." I couldn't help but laugh a little at Pam's comment. I could totally see that happening.

Once the three of us walked in to the room, Bobby was the first one to speak. “So you hear anything?”

Pam sighed, “Well, I Ouija'd my way through a dozen spirits. No one seems to know who broke your boy out, or why.” She said crossing her arms.

“So what’s next?” Amanda asked curiously.

“A séance, I think.” Pam said, “See if we can see who did the deed.”

“You’re not gonna summon the damn thing here?” Bobby asked slightly worried, and hell, I don’t blame the man. Who knows what it could have been that brought Dean out.

But to be quite honest, as much as I disliked him, I was pretty curious myself as to how he got out.

“No, I just wanna get a sneak peek at it.” Pam said with a smile as she went to walk in between Dean and Bobby. “Like a crystal ball without the crystal.”

“I’m game.” Dean said as he watched her ass as she walked away.

I swear if Bobby wasn’t here…

My thoughts were cut short when I felt someone touch my arm, "Don't say anything." My sister said, and gave me a stern look. She must have been inside my head. “And I’m not in your head, what you wanna do is written all over your face.” She said before disappearing into the room after Pam and Dean.

I rolled my eyes, this was un freakin’ believable.

===============================================

“I’m not sitting next to him.”

“I’m not sitting next to her.”

Both Dean and I said at the same time, causing both of us to glare at each other. See, this was extremely childish and immature. But there was no way I’m sitting next to him during this, in my book this whole thing has bad news written all over it.

“Are you serious?” Amanda asked with disbelief as she looked from Dean to I.

I opened my mouth to tell her I was completely serious when Bobby gave us a glare, "sit. Now.”

I plopped down in my chair next to Dean and Bobby and let out a loud aggravated sigh.

Why can't I sit next to you and Sam?! I whined inside Amanda's head, I could feel her smirking without even having to look at her.

Stop being a baby, it's not like he's going to caress you down...wait.. I mean he's not going to ..whatever you know what I mean! Now get out of my head, stop whining, and let's listen to Pam. She knows we're in each others head.

I scowled, but noticed that Pam was quirking an eyebrow and smirking at Amanda and I. Needless to say, the three men were confused as to what was going on between us.

"Now that I have everyone's attention. Take each others hands." I growled lightly when I placed my head in Dean's and Bobby's hands. "And I need to touch something our mystery monster touched." I watched in disgust when Pam put her hand underneath the table towards Dean. Ew, was she really going to touch his no no spot? But instead she touched the hand mark that was on Dean's upper arm. It looked pretty gross if you asked me, but hey what can I say. I don't like the dude.

"I invoke, conjure and command you appear into me before this circle." I watched and listened to Pam repeat this phrase four times, before suddenly the television behind her turned on. And the table started rocking back and forth. "Castiel? No..Sorry Castiel, I don't scare easy."

"Castiel?" Dean questioned Pam.

"It's name. It's whispering to me, warning to turn back." When she said this, my heart started rapidly beating. I could tell that Amanda was getting a little worried to. She kept moving in her chair, and kept shooting me glances, especially when the table started shaking faster. "I conjure, and command you to show me your face!" She repeated this a couple times to before Amanda and Bobby cut in for her to stop.

"I almost got it! I command you to show me your face now!" That's when the candles in front of us flamed up higher than usual, and that's when Pam let out a shriek and white lights came out of her eyes. She fell to the floor with blood dripping out of her eyes.

I just sat and watched with shock as Bobby yelled for one of us to call 9-1-1. And I realized I was the only one that didn’t budge as Sam ran to find a phone, while Amanda and Dean went on the floor with Bobby to see how Pam was.

I quickly snapped out of the shock I was in when I started to hear sobbing followed by Pam’s voice saying how she couldn’t see, over and over again.

See like I mentioned before, I knew this had bad news all over it

Everyone just stood around waiting for the ambulance to finally show up. Bobby had Pam in his lap while she continued to sob about not being able to see. Everyone was quiet, the silence was incredibly tense and you could tell everyone was worried about this Castiel situation.

When the ambulance finally showed up, Bobby laid Pam on the stretcher and went into the back with her. "I'm going to go to the hospital with her. I'll call and notify what's going on with her."

We all just stood there watching the ambulance become a blur in the distance.

“How can that douchebag think about pie at a time like this?” I growled as I threw my jacket on the couch and started to pace.. After standing outside for a few minutes after the ambulance had left, we had decided we would just return to the hotel room Sam had been staying at. So while Amanda and I are here, Dean decided he was in desperate need of Pie. So him and Sam left for the Diner just a few blocks away.

Ugh, boys.

“What do you mean? I’m surprised you haven’t gone out for Twinkie yet.” Amanda say sitting down on the couch, and I simply glared at her. Even though a Twinkie did sound really good right now.

“Whatever, I’m going to crash on Sam’s bed. Wake me if anything interesting happens.” I told her as I made my way into the bedroom closing the door behind me.

Hopefully, they wont wake me too soon.
