Hear Me Now

I walked up to Taylor's room and knocked softly on the door. No one
answered so I walked in. The lights were off but the soft glow from
the hallway shown on two sleeping figures. Taylor was curled up
against Chris's side, her head on his chest. His face was buried in
her hair, and he looked like he was holding her tightly. I smiled at
them, then softly closed the door.

"Hello Hun." Elliot gave me a quick peck on the cheek as he walked in
the next morning. I smiled tiredly at him, and followed him into the
kitchen. He handed me the bag in his hand.

"Mm... Food." I mumbled hungrily. I opened the bag and grabbed a
burrito out of it. "Bacon?" I asked opening it up. Elliot laughed and
nodded at me. I grinned and took a huge bite, almost too big for me to
chew. "Fank ya." I mumbled my mouth full of food. He laughed and
hugged me, kissing the top of my head. A knock at the door startled
me, and when I pulled out of Elliot's arm he pouted. I smiled at him
and walked down the hall.

"Hey Moriah." Kole smiled at me from the other side of my door. I
frowned at him, and watched him tense up as Elliot wrapped his arms
around me.

"What are out doing here?" I asked glaring at him.

"We need to talk. That's MY baby in there. Not... His." He said the
last word with disgust.

"I don't need you Kole." I replied trying to close the door.

"I have legal rights." He stopped the door, and smirked at me as I
realized there was no way around it.

"Kole?" I heard Taylor's voice from behind me. I turned and looked at
her.

"Hello Taylor." He mumbled. I watched as my sister ran from the room,
but collapsed only seconds later.
