"Is, is she okay?" I asked the nurse
"Well, it looks like somethings hit her on the head."
Yeah, like I didn't know.
"She'll probably have a bit of concussion when she wakes up, I'd say. But she should be fine."
Should. What if she wasn't? Her lifeless body just lay there on the bed.
"Do you know what happened, Aimee?" Brian asked, concerned.
"No, she was just there and next thing she wasn't..." I started to tear up again. "Hannaaaaa. Please, wake up", I whispered.
Suddenly, she began to open her eyes slowly
"What, where am I?!" she shouted, sitting up "Who are you? Why am I here?" she looked at me
"I'm Aimee. I'm your best friend, Hanna. Don't you remember me?"
"Oh. Yeah, of course I do... but who are those guys?" she whispered, looking over at Avenged Sevenfold
"We are Avenged Sevenfold, Hanna." they stood up and walked over to her side
"You got a bit of a bash in the head. You scared us all a bit. To be honest", said Brian
She must remember who he is, but she just looked at him.. not saying anything for a few moments.
"Avenged.. avenged.. CHRIST!"
"Yuhuh?" Johnny piped up
"No. No, not you Johnny. I just, what? I'm I dreaming here...?" she turned to me
"Nope, you are perfectly awake."
The support band played their set while Avenged helped us out, they didn't have to, but they did.
"Well.. we better go finish our set. Can't let the fans down", Matt said as he headed for the door
Hanna and I nodded, understandingly.
"Hey. Why don't we invite them for a party afterwards? It's the least we could do isn't it?", Zacky suggested
"Zacky.. my man" Brian began, putting his hands on Zacky's shoulders "You are one clever dude" he added.
A party? With the almighty Avenged Sevenfold? No way could this really be happening. I was sure that any second I'd wake up in my bed and this would all have been one amazing dream.
"Just as long as the don't drink my beer!" Jimmy laughed.
"Hanna, can you believe that?!" I half-screamed.
"No. No I can't. I must look a fuckin' mess. And in front of Brian. Ugh." she frowned
In the distance I heard them play 'A Little Piece Of Heaven', one of my favorites. I sang along, probably out of tune, but I sang anyway.
