Chemicals Collide

When the bell for second period rang I got up and Simon followed. We walked back to our lockers in silence. I started to wonder if what I said had made him mad at me. I opened my locker and dug around a bit, looking for my music book. When I shut it again, Simon was waiting for me this time, I smiled and he looked down at the floor,
"When, where, did you find out about Serina and Michael having sex and getting together over break? I need to know." I sighed,
"Michael told me this morning when Serina was dumping you, I didn't know beforehand." the warning bell rang. Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder, It was Conner. Conner was another of my good friends, and he was totally cute. He was taller than Simon and had black hair with blue eyes. I had been friends with him since 8th grade as well, and I have had the biggest crush on him since about half way through grade 10. I smiled and turned and hugged him,
"CONNER! oh my god, you have got to stop getting taller." he smiled proudly,
"You to, hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, becoming serious, when Conner is being serious, you know something is bothering him, I turned back to Simon,
"What do you have now?" I asked him,
"Math," he said with a groan,
"Do you mind if I talk with Con?" I asked with a pleading smile, he nodded and rolled his eyes playfully,
"Cya," I waved and walked away with Conner, as we were walking away Conner leaned down to my ear and placed a hand on the small of my back,
"You look gorgeous today," I felt the blush crawl up my face.
