The Job, the Love, the Drama

The next day our mom’s lawyer came with us. The papers were layed out on the mahogany meeting table.

The lawyers, Stephanie Meyer, and Catherine were all present.

“By signing this you will have a contract to be in all 4 movies unless let go by the company.” One of the other lawyers stated.

We both signed and Stephanie and Catherine both hugged us and gave us information on the project.

2 weeks to learn lines.

Exciting.

Korrine was excited as hell.
I was nervous.

2 Weeks

Memorizing was kind of hard. I got it all down though a tabloids were always at our house asking about us. Word got out about us being in the movie.

My mom is the reason. Working in TV and for something people across the country watch. She announced it the day after we signed

She just wants the publicity,

She sent her assistant to say goodbye to us,

“Classic.” I muttered going through security as we said bye to our moms assistant Rita.

We knew this movie would take months to film. But I was sort of scared what’s ahead.

I put my ear phones in my ear and Paramore blasted in my ears when we finally got to our seats in first class.

They were like big fat tan recliners.

Korrine tapped my shoulder.

I took an ear bud out and pressed pause

“Excited?” She asked

“Sort of.” I laughed

“I cant wait until Kellan Lutz has to act like he loves me.” She laughed

Korrine is dying her hair in Portland. But she has the BIGGEST crush on Kellan Lutz. Just wait till he finds out.

I for one have no crushes on celebrities because a lot are stuck up. Last year Zac Efron asked me out and I said yea and all he did was talk about himself.

Okay I have one celebrity crush. That kid who plays McLovin.

But he is like 20?

Music is more of my passion than acting. I love singing but if I had a chance to kiss him I’d do it.

“You’re a nerd.” I said as I turned on my side and looked out the window as the plane took off.

All I had to do was endure 6 hours.

6 Hours later

“Wake up Li!” Corrine said and I realized no one else was on the plane beside us and a flight attendant.

“Your Lilah and Corrine Snyder?” She asked

“Yesh.” I yawned

“My daughter is 12 and can’t wait for the movie to come out. Would it be a problem to ask for an autograph?” She asked a bit embarrassed

“Not at all.” Korrine said as the woman handed her a paper tablet and pen

“Whats her name?” I asked smiling

“Elaina.” She said and korrine quickly scribbled something and handed me the tablet.

‘Lilah Snyder – Thanks for being a fan Elaina! Hope you love it <3’ I put I am not good with this stuff.

“Might I say you girls are gorgeous.” She said and we both blushed

“Thank you. We should get going.” I said

“Nice to meet you.” Korrine said as the woman waved as we walked off.

In the air port were photographers.

All shouting stuff like…

‘Korrine! I ehar your dating Kellan!’ or ‘Lilah I heard Rob has an eye for you!’ one shouted

“What?” I laughed

The reporter came up to me and showed me a magazine and it had a Rob interview

The first question said

‘What was your first impression of Lilah?’

‘She is a beautiful girl but when she was acting it felt real and she blew me away.’

I handed it back to him blushing as flashes went off.

“Keep it.” He smiled

“Thank you so much.” I laughed

“Come on Li.” Korrine said as we grabbed our bags and headed toward the door and we saw Kellan Lutz leaning against a car with sunglasses on. Like the ones Tom Cruise wore in Top Gun. Kellan was gorgeous. But I am not into the whole big buff guy type.

“Hey Girls. I’m Kellan.” He smiled and Korrine kept composure

“I’m Lilah.” I said taking his hand

“I’m …..” Korrine hesitated on her name

“That’s Korrine.” I said

“Well Cath told me to come get you guys and she wants to do some readings when you guys get settled in at your loft.” He smiled

“Alright.” Korrine bit her lip unaware of how in love she looked.

Kellan had a nice 2008 Ford Mustang in silver

“Nice car.” Korrine said checking it out

She loved Cars
I was alright.

I got in the back and Korrine got in the front and Kellan started to drive.

“The lofts are a good 30 minutes away.” He said “Tell me about yourselves.” He said

“I’m Lilah, I’m 18, I love to sing and never acted before.” I said as I flipped to the page where the interview with Rob was.

Not paying any attention to my sister talking.

Q- Do you think this will lead to romance between you and Snyder?
A- I don’t know exactly. I have to get to know her.

Q- People are buzzing about you and your late girlfriend Kristen Stewart. Is it true she tried for Bella?
A- Yes she did

Q- What happened?
A- They thought Lilah was better fitted

I wonder what he is like.

“We are here.” Kellan said as we stopped outside of a tall beautiful building.

We all got out and Kellan got one of our bags for each of us and other workers came and helped.

As we unpacked we loved this loft. The color scheme was blue and green.
We made it to the bed rooms and decided to unpack before we looked around.

Unpacking took all off 1 hour and putting everything in place. The loft was kind of big for a loft but it worked.

I ran out of the room and saw on the island in the kitchen there was a vase of flowers with a card

The card read

‘Welcome to the Twilight Family’- every one’s signature.

My phone buzzed and it was a number I didn’t recognize.

“Hello?” I answered

“Hey Lilah it’s Catherine. There is a car waiting for you to come to the set to read lines. See you in a bit.” She said

I put on a black long sleeved shirt and skinny jeans and my black beret
Korrine was wearing a tightly fitted white t-shirt and a blue and green afghan with jeans.

“Ready?” I asked

“This is it!” She said happily.

We made it to the set and it was cold and a bit rainy here. I had my black pea coat on. Everyone was under a tent talking. They were casted months before. So I guess they must know each other.

We walked over and everyone welcomed us.

Ashley Greene was really nice

“Hey I’m Ashley.” She said

“I’m Lilah and Korrine is over there talking to kellan.” I laughed

“Well I was just on my phone and I want to show you something she said handing me her phone and it was on PerezHilton.com

A picture of me holding a magazine with Rob’s picture in front but I was blushing.

‘New Hollywood hotties spotted this morning at the airport. A photographer handed her a mag, with Rob’s questions and answers and they were about her. Look at that blush on her face. Is Kristen out of the picture? Rilah <3’

I blushed crimson like in the picture.

“Don’t worry. Rob hasn’t said anything.” She laughed

The girl who played Jessica was also talking to Kellan.

“Can Everyone take a seat!” Catherine yelled

“Alright, I want you all to get used to it being so cold here.” She laughed “We are going to read some lines. Tomorrow we start filming bright and early.” She said

“Okay, we are going through the whole script today!” She said

I sat across from Rob, next to Korrine. And Catherine was at the head of the table.

“Okay, Lilah they are going to need you to talk in the beginning so just say those lines and lets start… ACTION!” She said

I'd never given much thought to how I would die..
But dying in the place of someone I

RENE

RENE

love saying that - on the road.
(The woman playing Rene seemed into it. Everyone else was paying attention to the script but I noticed Taylor Lautner looking at me. He was next to rob.)

BELLA
Very romantic.

PHIL
If you call crappy motels, backwater
towns and ballpark hot dogs romantic.

RENE
Now, you know if you change your
mind, I'll race back here from
wherever the game is.
BELLA
I won't change my mind, mom.
RENE
You might. You've always hated Forks.
BELLA
It's not about Forks, it's about
Dad. I mean, two weeks a year, we
barely know each other. Mom, I want to go. I'll be fine.

Cuts to scene with Charlie. [Billy Burke seemed nice]
CHARLIE
Your hair's longer.

BELLA
I cut it since last time I saw you. (I put my script down because I studied this part more than others)

CHARLIE
Guess it grew out again. How's your mom?

BELLA
Good.
CHARLIE

I put Grandpa's old desk in your

room. And I cleared some shelves

in the bathroom.

BELLA
(grimacing)
That's right. One bathroom.
CHARLIE
I'll just put these up in your room
BELLA
I can do it

Outside the House
CHARLIE
Bella, you remember Billy Black.
BILLY
Glad you're finally here. Charlie
hasn't shut up about it since you
told him you were coming.
CHARLIE
Keep exaggerating, I'll wheel you
down the hill.
BILLY
Right after I ram you in the ankles. (I looked up for Taylor to say his line.)

“TAYLOR!” Catherine yelled and he jumped and his knee hit the table.

“Ow!” He yelled “Sorry.” He said

A minute later he said

JACOB
I'm Jacob. We made mud pies
together when we were little kids.
I gave him an assuring smile.

BELLA
Yeah... I think I remember.. Are they always like this?

JACOB
It's getting worse with old age.
CHARLIE
So what do you think of your
homecoming gift?

BELLA
No way. The truck is for me?

CHARLIE
Just bought it off Billy, here.

JACOB
I rebuilt the engine and –

BELLA
It's perfect!

JACOB
Okay, so you gotta double pump the
clutch when you shift, but -
BELLA
Maybe I can give you a ride to school.

JACOB
I go to school on the reservation.

BELLA
Too bad. Would've been nice to
know at least one person.
I looked over at taylor. He was smiling at me.

“Lets take a few minute break.” Catherine said as she tapped me on the shoulder as everyone started talking.

“Tomorrow we are shooting the last scene first. The prom scene so we just need your sizes taken by Sonya in the trailer over there.” She said

“Is that why you stopped?” I asked her

“No I need to speak with some people.” She said darting her eyes to a blushing Taylor

I walked to the trailer and inside was all different dresses.

“Hi I’m sonyia.” She smiled

“I’m Lilah.” I said

“I’m making this quick.” She said “Arms out!” She said and she started scribbling measurements.

She picked out a blue halter dress with 3 layers at the end kinf of like a salsa dress, then over the hanger she put a yellow vintage sweater.

“Thanks.” She smiled sweetly and I walked out

I saw Taylor looking at me and decided to talk to him.

“Hey Taylor.” I smiled

“Hi Lilah.” He said

“Is your knee alright?” I asked

“Yea, that day you acted with Rob you were amazing.” He said

“Thank you. I have watched Shark boy and Lava Girl plenty of times to hear you sing.” I admitted

I had a tiny crush on shark boy when I was younger too.

“Don’t remind me.” He laughed

“You do that dance real well.” I started to imitate him and I was giggling. I never giggle.

“You do it pretty good yourself.” He said putting a hand over his laughing mouth.

“I read these books once, I know Jacob has long hair. Yours is sort of short.” I said

“They are putting miracle grow on my head tonight.” He said

“Really that works?” I asked truly believing him

“No! I am wearing an itchy wig.” He laughed

“I thought it would work.” I laughed

“Everyone sit!” Catherine said as we resumed lines until around 8 o’clock that night.

It got a bit colder but not so bad.

Catherine said we all have to be on set by 5.

I’m not the easiest morning person.

Korrine seemed content near Kellan. I hate Luke!

I went to bed at 9 after a hot shower. I woke up and felt pretty good.
