The Enemies' Secret: More Than Friends

Blabber

Dylan's POV
‘Why her?!?! Geesh what the heck, not Layla, I can’t be in love with her! I stormed up the stairs to call my father, Ares, yes Ares the God of War. If you have a problem with it then deal with my dad. And yes that explains my temper…’
The phone kept ringing and ringing.
“WHAT!” my father bellowed
My dad Ares, the God of War, stricks fear into people’s hearts. My dad can act like a jerk at times, other than that he is a major ladies man but is dating Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, she is married though I think he knows that she’s dating my dad.
“Hey dad…” I groned
“Hey kido what’s up?” he asked
“What would you say if I was in love?” I said shyly
Dead silence filled the phoneline.
‘I guess he’s thinking.’
“I would say ok, who is she? Is it that Sara girl?” he asked
“No dad um…” I tried to get out until I was interrupted
“DYLAN!! GET YOUR TAKING-PEOPLE-OUT-OF-CLASS-WHEN-YOU-FEEL-LIKE-IT BUTT DOWN HERE BEFORE I GET YOU MYSELF!!!” Layla screamed
“Who was that?!?!” my dad asked(bellowed)
‘Oh yeah I’m dead, he knows who Layla is but she doesn’t know who her father is. I do feel for her but to see her she can’t know who our fathers are.
“Um…that’s um…Layla.” I said the last part quietly while pulling the phone from my ear.
“WHAT IS SHE DOING AT YOUR HOUSE!!! YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU WEREN’T FRIENDS WITH HER!!!!” his voice blasted from the device
I rolled my eyes,
“Dad why can’t you give Layla a chance? You know how I feel about her. Why wont you let me be?!?!” I randomly yelled
Something fell to the floor, I turned around to a pair of silver/blue eyes, Layla looked at me with a shocked expression on her face and papers on the floor.
“Uh Layla…I said that I was coming didn’t I?” I quietly asked
“No you didn’t gosh you can’t remember anything!” she yelled; storming out the room
“Crap, dad I got to go, dinners ready.” I said
“Alright but stay away from that…” he started but I hung up on him. Damn she probably heard what I said to dad! I ran down the stairs to the dinning room and sat down next to my mom across from Layla. She wouldn’t dare look at me.
“Layla…” I started
“Hey mom how was work?” Layla interrupted
“Fine darling.” She smiled at her
After a few minutes of silent eating Layla stood up and excused herself.
‘Just Great…’

Ok I know that I didn't post this earlier but I hurt my leg and to top it off I'm a little down so sorry that this chapter is lame. And I'll try to post another chapter tomorrow.
