“You leave in a week?” I asked with a frown. “What am I going to do, you’re my only friend.” I said with a pout.

Caleb frowned and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. “You have friends.” he said.

“Yeah, you, Jonathan and everyone back in Wisconsin. I kinda forgot that you’d be leaving.”

“I got an idea.” Caleb said, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk. The wind blew our hair slightly into our faces.

“What would that be?” I asked, turning to look up at him.

“Come on tour with us.” he said, his eyes staring into mine.

My teeth sunk into my bottom lip and I looked away “I dunno Caleb. My job and everything, I can’t afford to loose it.”

“Just the Texas dates.” he pleaded, his hands reaching down and grabbing mine.

“How will I get home?” I retorted, looking down at our hands that he managed to lace together. My stomach did a somersault as he gently squeezed them.

“We can take my car. We’ll alternate nights on driving. It’ll be an adventure!” a big smile made it’s way across his face and a playful sparkle appeared in his brown eyes. “It’s only three days, but it’s three more days of my awesomeness.”

I let out a laugh, “When will I get back home?”

“On a Friday night, you’ll only miss one day of work.”

“When do we leave?” I sighed.

He let out loud ’whoop’ and picked me up in a hug. “We leave in two weeks!”

“Turn left here.” I said, putting the map down. Silently, Caleb flipped his directional on and turned his eyes intent on the road.

“And we’re here.” he mumbled, flashing a security guard his pass and pulling in by the buses.

“Did you get a pass for me?” I asked, unbuckling my seat belt.

“Uh, shoot.” he sent me a smile, “I’ll have to get you one when I see Robi. Are you ready to met the rest of the guys.”

I tried to give him a reassuring smile as my stomach knotted itself. “Yeah, yeah.” He chuckled and grabbed my hand. he’s been doing that a lot lately..

“Don’t worry about it.” he said, his smile never fading. “They’ll love you. You all will be friends in no time!”

“I wish I was that confident.” I mumbled, tugging my hand away from his and opening my door.

He chuckled and got out of car. After he locked it I stood behind him and let out a slow breath. “Just stay with me and we’ll get you a pass. Don’t wander cause I don’t want you to get kicked out.” I nodded my head and followed him, wishing that he would grab my hand again.

After successfully sneaking me past the security guard, Caleb and I were face to face with his bus. “You ready?” he asked, grabbing my hand.

“I’m going to puke.” I responded, pretending to gag.

He chuckled and opened the door, “We’re here!” he called, pulling my hand so I followed him up the stairs.

“Jimmie! He got you to come!” Austin said, high fiveing me. I smiled slightly as I surveyed the other guys. Only knowing half the guys was making my stomach take a turn for the worse.

“Hey, what’s up? I’m Kyle.” A tall blonde said. He smiled up at me and I gave him a small smile back.

“That’s Kent.” Caleb said, pointing to a guy who was playing video games. “And, Marc.” he pointed to a guy with curly hair.

“Hello.” I said, trying not to be so shy. I reached up and flipped up the dark lenses of my glasses, causing Kyle to let out a laugh.

“No wonder why Caleb likes you,” he said. A blush crept onto my cheeks as I hung my head down to shield my face.

“Way to scare her.” Jonathan said, “Jimmie, don’t be shy.” I sent a smile his way and tugged on my colorful tank top that I got at Goodwill.

“Hey, how much time before we play?” Caleb asked, grabbing a bottle of water out of their mini fridge.

“Two hours, but we have a singing in one.” Kent said, his eyes still glued to the tv.

“Want me to show you around?” Caleb asked, offering me the water.

I took it from him and opened it “Sure.” I smiled, sipping some of the cool water. “Oh, a pass.” I said, before Caleb had pulled me out of the bus.

“Oh, Robi, I need her pass,” Caleb called towards the back of the bus.

“Alright, just hold on.” a voice called from the back. Caleb walked towards the back just as soon as Robi came out. “Here.” he placed a plastic pass in Caleb’s hand. “All access.”

Caleb put in in my hands “Attach it to your belt loops.” I quickly attached it to the black fabric, flipped the dark lenses of my sunglasses down and smiled. “Okay, we’ll be back. Just text me with where I’m supposed to go.”

“This is where we get food.” Caleb’s voice rang in my ear as he pointed towards different tents. I looked around, but kept glancing down at my hand that was intertwined with Caleb’s.
“Yo, Turman.!” someone shouted, jogging up to us.

“Hey man.” Caleb said, dropping my hand to give him a bro hug.

He stood a tad bit shorter than Caleb, but was definitely skinnier. Brown, shaggy, hair brushed down into his brown eyes as they set their stare on me.

“Who’s the lady?” the guy asked, letting his eyes wander my body. I immediately blushed and tried to cover my breasts more.

“John, knock it off.” Caleb said, slapping his stomach, “This is Jimmie. Jimmie, this is John. He’s in The Maine.”

“I’ve heard of your music.” I said, “uh, the I thought I had a girl but she ran away. song right?”

“Yeah.” he said with a smile.

“I’m just showing Jimmie around,” Caleb smiled, “She’ll be here with us for the Texas dates. Then she’s headin’ back home.” His phone let out a loud ring from his pocket. He pulled it out and sighed.

“What?” I asked, trying to sneak a look at, but he quickly tucked it back into his pocket.

“I have to go do the signing, John wanna finish showing her around?” My eyes widened and I gave Caleb a worried look.

“Yeah sure,” John said, throwing his arm around my shoulder. Caleb just gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze before walking away.

“So, how are things on Warped?” I asked as John lead me through the buses.

“They’re pretty good. Do you like it?” he questioned, pulling open his bus door.

“It’s my first day.” I said, “Is anyone else here?” I asked, not wanting to be alone with him. The way he was looking at my legs and chest just didn’t give me the best impression.

“Yeah, Garrett should be.” he said, leading the way. My legs shook as I followed him up the stairs. “Don’t be nervous. I’m not gonna do anything.” he laughed, opening his own mini fridge and pulling out a beer. “Want one?”

“I don’t drink.” I answered, flipping up lenses of my sunglasses and looking around the front lounge. Clothes and magazines were thrown around the floor and couches, John pushed some off to make a spot for me to sit. I hesitantly took the seat while he took one next to me.

He took a drink of his beer before trying to force some small talk. But I couldn’t help but to feel out of place and awkward. Why would Caleb leave me alone with him? I played with the ring from Caleb and crossed my legs.

“So, you’re only staying for the Texas dates?” John asked, finishing his beer and throwing the bottle to the side.

“Uh, yeah, I have to be back for work.” I answered, pulling my phone out and smiling when I saw I had one new text from Caleb.

Srry didn’t think u’d want to stand here while I sign.

I quickly hit reply and hid the screen from John while I typed “it’s fine, but when are you getting back? He’s kinda…creepy.” I sent it and quickly looked up at John who was looking at me with his eyebrows raised.

“It was Caleb.” I smiled, shoving my phone back in my shorts pocket, just in time for it to vibrate. I pulled it back out and read we have a long line. Srry. I frowned and looked up at John.

“So…want me to introduce you to some people?” he asked, standing up.

I thankfully stood up, not wanting him to know that I thought the bus was too dirty and smelt a bit too much, and nodded my head. “yeah, that’d be cool.”

We walked all around the Warped Tour grounds and it didn’t seem like he was going to introduce me to anyone. I had to shrug his arm off my shoulder several times, and tucked my hands into my pockets so he’d stop trying to hold it. He started to lead me towards a group of guys and I took it as my chance to loose him. He went to the left and I took off to my right. I could hear him calling my name but I didn’t care, I needed to get away from him. And fast.

Soon enough a bunch of merch tents came into my view and I ducked into them. A large grin slipped onto my face when I saw a red tent that had “Forever the Sickest Kids” on it and I made my way to it.

“Hey, uh, where is the tent that they’re signing at?” I asked the guy.

He didn’t bother to look up from his magazine “They’re almost done, but they’ll most likely be here for more afterwards.” he monotonously spoke.

“No,” I laughed, “I’m gonna be here for the next few days with Caleb and I kinda lost him.” I said, fiddling with my fingers.

“Oh, you’re Jimmie?” He asked, his blue eyes now looking up at me.

“Yeah,” I smiled, “So, could you tell me how to get there?”

“Just stay here, I promise they’ll be done soon. It’s better than standing there and watching them with the fans.”

I chuckled, “okay. Need me to do anything?”

He grinned, “Watch the merch while I get something to eat?”

“Sure.” I shrugged, “Just tell me what to do.”

“Do you know if the guys are coming here?” A dark haired girl asked, interrupting someone else who was attempting to buy a shirt.

“I don’t know.” I responded, turning back to the other girl. “Which one did you want?” she opened her mouth to answer but was quickly cut off.

“Well, can you find out?” the dark haired girl asked.

I sighed. “Can you hold on? She’s trying to buy a shirt and not harass the FTSK crew.” I said turning back to the other girl who had a small shy blush.

“The green one.” She said, her voice barely above a whisper. I nodded my head.
“Which size, wait, medium?” She nodded her head and pulled out the money. I quickly took it and replaced it with the shirt that she wanted and she quickly took off to a different booth.
I pursed my lips together and looked down at the dark haired girl. “I don’t know if they’re coming. I can’t find out. They’ll come if they want to.” I told her, flipping the dark lenses of my glasses up.

She sighed and crossed her arms. “You can’t text one of them?”

“No.” I said, “If they want me they text me.” I told her while crossing my arms.

She shrugged and leaned against the booth, “I’ll wait here for them.”

“Fine with me, but it’ll be really boring.” I told, glancing in the direction that their merch guy went.

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I smiled as I pulled it out. Where the heck are you? John said he lost you!

“Oops.” I laughed after reading Caleb’s worried words. I quickly pressed send on his name, figuring that calling would be faster than texting.

“Hello?” he quickly answered on the second ring. “Where are you?”

“I’m at the merch booth.” I said, “I took over for what’s his face. Are you with John?”

“No.” He answered, “I’ll be there in a second.”

“No, tell me where you are.” I said, looking over at the girl.

“I’m already there.” He said, and hung up. I could see his red hair approaching and the dark haired girl let out a loud scream and ran towards him. I smiled and mouthed to him “told you.” and watched as the fans crowded him.
