Scream Me a Dream

Chapter 95: Floating

“Ville.” Soya breathed, staring at him, biting her lower lip as it threatened to break into a smile.

“Sanoa kyllä, Soya.”(Say yes, Soya)

“Ville.”

“Are you just going to say my name the rest of the night?” he teased, getting off his knee to stand.

Soya couldn’t help the smile that broke onto her lips, leaning up she kissed him softly and slowly. “Tietysti mina naimisiin.” She whispered against his lips, feeling him break into a smile of his own. “Loppujen lopuksi sait minut rengas.” She teased, causing him to laugh. (Of course I’ll marry you; after all you got me a ring.)

Ville picked up her hand, only for her to take off the ring she already had on her finger. He pulled the ring out of its box, dropping the box on the ground as he slipped the ring on her finger only to meet some resistance.

“A bit small.” He murmured.

“No, no,” she said, pushing the ring on and framing his face. “Perfect.”

Ville laughed accepting the kisses she peppered on his face. “At least let me get it sized Soya.”

“No.” she laughed, settling her arms loosely around his neck. “It’s perfect, Ville, I love it.”

“Soya, I want the ring to fit rig-” he was cut off by her lips attaching to his own, causing his hands to tighten around her waist.

“I dare you to take it off.” She murmured against his lips.

“I won’t.” he chuckled, leaning forward to kiss her. “Let’s get inside, you’re starting to freeze.”

“I’m fine.”

“Go.” He chuckled. “As beautiful as that dress is, it’s not weather friendly.” He teased. “I’ll be right in; I’m just going to blow out the candles.”

“Fine.” Soya conceded, kissing him once more before moving to the table to gather her things and leave the yard. Shaking his head, he started at one end of the yard, blowing out the candles that the snow hadn’t.

Floating, he was floating in fucking air. He couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he moved through his yard. Not only did the woman he love, love him back, but she was wearing his ring on her finger. He was going to marry the woman he loved; he was going to marry the one. Blowing out the two candles he had at the table, he gathered the blanket that lay on the ground absently reminding himself to call Jesse to help him clean up, since Jesse had been the one to help him.

Entering his tower, he laid the blanket on his couch before starting up the steps only to pause when he saw a puddle of pink material lying in the middle of the stairway. Picking it up, he couldn’t help but grin wider as he realized that it was Soya’s dress. Shaking his head, he took the steps two at a time, unbuttoning his shirt as he went.

When he reached his room, he saw her sitting on the bed under the covers, her knees pulled up to her chest while she looked at her outstretched hand. Her lip caught between her teeth as she looked at her ring.

“You like it?” he asked dropping both her dress and his shirt to the floor as he closed the bedroom door.

“I love it.” Soya grinned.

“I saw your surprise on the steps.” He teased, getting on the bed kicking off his shoes and socks as he did so, trapping Soya between his arms.

“Thought you’d like it.” She teased back, lying down in bed as he hovered over her.

“So, if you’re not wearing your dress,” he grinned. “What are you wearing? Please answer that with ‘nothing.’”

“Ah, not that brave.” She told him with a blush, her voice lowering when she felt his lips brush her neck.

“Well, you’re wearing something.” He pointed out, his nose moving the thin strap that lay against her shoulder. He pushed the covers down, the air whooshing out as he saw the silk camisole she had on.

“I’m guessing you like it.” She laughed, moving her legs so he could lie between them.

“Love it.” He murmured, his lips skimming down her neck.

“Really? I thought you didn’t like silk?”

Ville pulled away frowning at her. “Why in the world would you think I didn’t like silk?”

“When you saw me wearing it in LA you seemed put-off by it; it’s just that this is the only thing I had in my bag that I thought fit the occasion though.”

“No, no, I wasn’t put off by it…in that way.” Ville chuckled, kissing her lightly. “Soya, I love silk on you.”

“Then what were you put off by?” she asked as he pushed the rest of the covers down revealing her bare legs and the light pink lace underwear she wore.

“Back when we were touring.” Ville admitted, swallowing harshly as his hand running up her bare leg, before resting his forehead against hers. “I dreamt of you.”

“Did you?”

Ville nodded slightly, breathing slowly as he felt her hands run down his chest before settling on the button of his jeans. “You wore something like this in my dream.” He whispered, his breath catching when he felt her hands pushing down his jeans. “When I saw you wearing it in LA, it just all came rushing back.”

“So you liked it?”

“Loved it, adored it.” He whispered, moving the strap down her arm lightly with his fingers, watching her bit her lip though her eyes were watching him. He kicked his pants all the way down, hearing them drop to the floor as he moved slightly to catch Soya’s lips with his own.

Her fingers settled low on his waist, pushing him slightly, turning him onto his back as she climbed on top of him, their lips never breaking contact. His hands moved and spanned her back as he closed his eyes, feeling Soya’s lips move from his lips down his neck. He only opened his eyes when he felt her move to the center of his chest, her darkened eyes watching him as she pulled away.

“Miten pitkälle aiomme mennäa tänään Ville?” She whispered, watching him. (How far are we going to go tonight Ville?)

Ville chuckled, “If you have to ask, then not very far Soya.” He said, raising his hand and stroking her cheek. Her fingers circled his wrist, bringing his palm to her mouth as she placed a kiss at its center, chewing the corner of her lip as she placed his hand at the center of her chest.

“Mitä jos haluan mennä pidemmälle?”(What if I want to go further?) She asked lowly, causing his eyes to go to hers as they’d been focused on his own hand.

“Soya.” He whispered, moving his eyes across her face, watching the way she chewed her lip, moving his eyes down to the long column of her neck before they settled on his hand that was lying on her rapidly beating heart. His fingers tiptoed across her chest, reaching the thin strap of her camisole, slipping it off her shoulder.

Smiling, she slowly started to take her arm out of the thin strap only for both of them to pause when they heard a slight knock on the door.

Ville? Soya?”

Ville squeezed his eyes shut, wrapping his arms around Soya’s back as she fell forward in his chest feeling her groan.

“Please tell me that’s not my mother.” Ville whispered in her ear.

“Ville?”

“Oh god it is.” Ville groaned, covering his eyes in frustration, he felt Soya shake against him and couldn’t help but stare at the top of her head. “Are you laughing?”

She looked up and kissed his chin, before sliding off him, and sitting at the edge of the bed, fixing the strap of her camisole before standing up. “Yes, I’m laughing.”

Ville groaned as he sat up, trying to get a sense of calm as he watched Soya walk around the room, just as another knock came at the door.

“Ville, I have a very anxious eight year old downstairs wanting to know whether you did it or not?” Anita said through the door.

“I was about to.” Ville muttered.

“We’ll be right down Anita.” Soya called while throwing a t-shirt at Ville and hitting his face. “Change.” She laughed, rummaging through the dresser drawers, finding a pair of her black yoga pants and slipping them on.

Ville groaned, slipping the shirt over his head and throwing his legs over the side of the bed, breathing deeply before walking to the end of the bed and pulling on his jeans, buttoning them with a wince as he tried to rearrange himself.

Soya pulled open the door, only to frown over her shoulder as she heard Ville mutter to himself. “What was that?” She asked amused.

“Nothing at all.” Ville said as they walked down the stairs, only for him to steady Soya on the last step when Aida flew at her and attached herself to Soya’s leg.

“Did he do it?! Did he do it?!” she asked quickly, her words blending together in excitement.

“All night, she’s been like this all night.” Anita pointed out. “What did you do?” she asked looking up at her son.

“He did!” Aida squealed, grabbing Soya’s left hand and jumping up and down.

Anita looked over at Soya’s hand, only to gasp and look at her son. “Oh! Ville!”

Ville chuckled as he accepted the hug his mother grabbed him in, watching as Soya tried to calm down her sister.

“Oh! This is such wonderful news! When did this happen!?” Anita asked pulling away from Ville and going towards Soya pulling her into a hug.

“About an hour ago.” Ville said, running a hand through his hair, before eyeing the eight year old who was grinning at him. “What happened to you staying at my mum’s house while I had time with Soya?”

“I was really excited!” Aida giggled, causing him to shake his head and lean down to give the little girl a hug.

“And it’s way past your bedtime.” Soya pointed out.

“Oh let the girl stay up, it’s not every day her sister gets engaged, oh, and to my son!” Anita said covering her mouth as she stared at the two.

“Oh, don’t cry äiti!” Ville laughed hugging his mother again.

“I’m just so happy for both of you!” She said, framing Ville’s face and kissing his forehead.

“I’m glad.” Ville laughed kissing her cheek. “Everything still set up in the backyard if you want to go see what I did, I’ll take Aida up to bed.”

“No, no, I wanna go back with mummi.” Aida said, walking over to Anita and grabbing her hand. “I just wanted to see if you had done it!”

Soya bit her lip to keep from laughing as Ville stared at the eight year old in disbelief. “Ville, why don’t you head upstairs and I’ll show your mother the backyard?”

Ville nodded slowly, giving his mother one last kiss before heading up the stairs. Deciding he didn’t want to go back to bed just yet, he went to his bathroom and stripped down, turning on the water to his shower on its coldest setting before getting in. He must have been under the spray for a good twenty minutes before deciding hypothermia wasn’t the best way to end the night in which he got engaged. Turning off the water, he dried off, wrapping the towel around his waist as he left the bathroom.

Stepping back into his room, he found Soya back in bed, in the same position he’d found her in an hour ago, still looking at her ring.

“What did my mum say?” he asked, going to his dresser and pulling out a pair of boxers and slipping them on, unwrapping the towel from his waist and running it over his hair once more before throwing it on the floor.

“That she has the sweetest son in the world.” Soya said grinning at him. “Aida told me she helped pick out my ring.”

“She did.” Ville nodded with a smile. “I couldn’t decide between a couple; I could see you wearing all of them, so I had Aida narrow it down for me.”

“I love that you got my sister involved, Ville.” Soya told him as he got into bed next to her.

“Come here.” He whispered, pulling her to him as they laid on their sides, he pulled her tightly to his chest before running his arm down hers to intertwine their fingers, his thumb playing with the ring she refused to take off. “I can always get you a bigger one, Soya, bigger band, bigger diamond.” He looked down to see her wrinkle her nose.

“What makes you think I want bigger?” she turned her head slightly, kissing the bottom of his chin. “I love it Ville, its perfect.”

“Soya, do you want to tell everyone?” Ville asked, moving his arm as she turned to face him, letting him rest his arm across her waist.

Soya bit her lip. “Would you be mad if I said no?”

“No, I’d be grateful.” Ville laughed lowly. “I just…I want this to be for us, Soya; once everyone finds out they’re going to be on us like they are on Linde and Toni. I want to marry you,” he said kissing her softly. “I just don’t want to do it tomorrow.”

Soya shook her head. “I like that it’s just us and our family that know right now. When the time is right, we’ll let everyone else know, but for now…”

“Just us.” Ville nodded, glad that he and Soya were in agreement, though he knew that had she wanted to call every single one of their friends that minute, he’d let her as long as she was happy.

“Tomorrow we have to meet with Isolde.” Soya told him, “Do you want to go with me to talk to her tomorrow morning?”

Ville wrinkled his nose. “I have breakfast plans with Jesse tomorrow, but we’re going to be here so give me a call when you both want to take those pictures.”

“Have you decided whether or not you want to talk to her about us?”

Ville shrugged, closing his eyes. “I’m not sure yet, I’ll decide tomorrow when I meet her but if you want to talk to her, go ahead.”

“Ville.”

“Hmm?”

“I love you.” She said stroking his cheek, watching him smile as his eyes opened letting her see the beautiful green.

“I love you too, Soya.” He pulled her tighter against him, kissing her top of her head. “So much.”

My mommy left today :( and though my aunt is still here i was planning on just sending you guys the previews and posting a bit later in the week...but then i was like...eh..they want the chapters and i want comments lol. So here is the chapter, a bit short but necessary nonetheless XD

With my family having come to visit, in addition to not posting, i haven't really written much (I also blame the books I'm reading as I've read six books in the last two weeks to a very addicting series, I'm on seven now and i dare you to try and pry it out of my fingers :P) BUT, after work tomorrow i will be sitting down and writing, so I'm hoping to catch back up soon. So i have no idea when I'll post 96, probably once i finish 97, hopefully I'll get back on schedule sooner rather then later.

Now, i promise you guys, that if you leave a comment I'll send out that preview for the next chapter which include an appearance from Jussi and Isolde XD

Thank you all for the comments you left on the last chapter!!! I'm so glad you all enjoyed the proposal!! and i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter as well!!!
