Shotgun Sinners

Chapter 2

Chelsea's POV

Running up the same stairs as eight other people proved to be quite the challenge. After knocking over my boyfriend and sending him nearly hurtling down the flight of stairs, I managed to get up to mine and Mikey’s bedroom to get ready for the mall. I picked up a random shirt and a pair of jeans before Mikey showed up at the door, out of breath and laughing uncontrollably. Who else do you know that would laugh after you’ve thrown him down a flight of stairs? I couldn’t help but start to laugh as well.

“Better hurry up before one of the other girls gets the bathroom,” I teased him, a big smile still present on my face. He laughed and grabbed a t-shirt and jeans out from under the bed and ran to the bathroom, with me close behind.

Once everybody was dressed and ready, we went out to the car. It was a big van that had enough room for us all, and was I glad. Being separated from Mikey wasn’t exactly anything I wanted to do anytime soon. All the other couples began to fill in the van until everyone was in, and Bob climbed into the driver’s seat.

“Come on Bob, snuggle with Gerard,” Kay giggled, getting out of the van and walking up to the driver’s seat so Bob could get some action, if you’d like to call it that. Everyone just had to laugh once Bob snuggled up next to Gerard, a look of pleasure present in his features. He was straight, just pretending to enjoy it. Really, he just wanted to be with his friends.

Gerard decided to play dirty and whispered things in Bob’s ear in a seductive tone. Bob’s features, which were at first relaxed, became panicked.

“Woah! No Gerard, back off!” Bob said, looking very disturbed and quickly moving himself as far away from Gerard as possible. The van erupted in laughter, even from the driver’s seat.

“What’d he say?” Olivia shrieked excitedly, another coffee in her hands.

“Hey, Kay, your boyfriend is replacing you!” Alex joked, motioning towards Bob. From the front seat came even more laughter. I was surprised that she could still drive while laughing so much.

“Hey, Bob, we need to find you a girlfriend, Gerard obviously doesn’t satisfy your needs,” I said, giggling as Mikey’s eyes widened, and groans of protest came from his mouth, asking to please stop talking about his brother in sexual ways, sending us all into yet another fit of giggles.

A few moments later, after everyone had calmed down a bit, we arrived at the mall. Kay resumed her place next to Gerard, and Bob was alone once again. Mikey took hold of my hand as we walked through the doors of the mall.

“Oh my God, honestly, who would ever wear this?” Alex said, pointing to an old-lady sweater. I couldn’t help but crack up. It was one of the ugliest things I had ever seen. I poked it and it fell off the hanger.

“Oops.” I said, looking down at it. Bob leaned over to pick it up, but someone beat him to it; him and a female knocked heads.

“Oh, I-“ Bob said, looking up. He had this look in his eye, like he’d just seen a ghost. But then, his expression softened a bit. “I-I’m sorry,” he stuttered, obviously nervous.

“Oh, it’s okay,” she said, her voice shaking from nerves also. She reached out her hand to Bob, “I’m Meghan."

“Hi, I’m…I’m Bob.” Bob said, grinning widely.
