Chapter 27
Jacks POV
"So Jack, what did you do at Alex's house?" My mom asks. "Nothing much. We got there, fell asleep for a while. Watched some TV. Then at 11:30 we watched Times Square where Alex's Mom wished us a Happy New year. Kissed at midnight. And went to sleep." "I saw Alex's mom. That was sweet. And you and Jack kissed?" She asked. "It wasn't the first time.." "Jack I didn't really need to know that. School starts in a few days." That's a scary thought. What would people thing when people saw me and Alex? What happens if people started to beat us up? I sighed. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." My mom says. "I hope."
Alexs POV
My parents get home on the 2nd. "Alex did you see us on TV?" My mom asks. "Sure did, so did Jack." "Oh Jack, I like him, he's really sweet." "I know." "Well get your things together. School starts next week."

Alexs POV
I walk into school. Rian, Zack, and Jack are standing at our usual spot in the hall. "Hey Alex." Rian greeted. "How was your break?" he asked. "Amazing." I smile at Jack. "How was yours?" I ask. "Pretty good. I met a girl." "Who?" Jack asked. "A girl named Kara." "The brunette with the really pretty brown eyes?" Jack asked. "Yeah that one." "Oh shes cute." I say. Jack elbows my side. "Hey I said shes cute Jack. You're amazing, funny, gorgeous." I feel someone put their hand on my shoulder. "Alex, you left my sister for a GUY?!?!" I turn around, Josh. Captain of the football team. "So?" I hear Jack say. Josh shakes his head and walks away. That's the only good part of him, he knows when to not cross the line. The bell rang. And I walk to class.
Jacks POV
I sit in math thinking about what Josh said. I love Alex but I don't want to get pushed around by him and other people. I don't know anymore.
