The door opened only seconds after I had stepped through it revealing the Italian boy that Taylor had had her eyes on that night.
“Alex. Jack. Wake up dingbats” he said hitting both of them upside the head. He then turned to me and spoke, “Matt will be by here any second”. I nodded my head, watching as the two boys that had been asleep, Alex and Jack, rubbed their heads and rolled back over, falling back asleep instantly.
As the Italian guy had promised, Matt appeared only a few seconds later. A smile widened across his face as his eyes met mine. “Did Vinny tell you I was coming?” he asked. I gave him a puzzled look as I tried to figure out if the Italian guy was Vinny. He seemed to notice my confusion.
“The Italian guy with short dark hair” he clarified. I nodded my head then telling him ‘yes’ that Vinny had indeed told me that. “Good. Good. We’ve got about an hour until show time. Want to grab some food?” he asked.
