Part 1

Say That You Need Me

Chapter 27

It was the last day on set, the whole cast and crew stood around. The director talked to them for a few minutes, telling them how great it has been and the hope’s the movie does well, so they can come back and make another.

They opened some champagne, Joe took some for himself and then one for Payton, he walked back over to her and handed it to her.

“You’re still coming to the wrap party with me, right?” he asked her.

“Yeah, I didn’t think I had a choice.”

“You really don’t” he smiled.
Kevin walked over, a smile playing on his face as well.

“Why are you so happy?” Joe asked him.

“Were going home” he stated.

“And that makes you happy?” Joe asked, he surly wasn’t happy about going home.

“Yes it does, I get to see my son and my wife” Kevin said.

“Eh, I rather stay here and shoot 5 movies, then go home.”

“Don’t you miss your kids?” Payton asked.

“Of course I do, but I don’t miss my wife” he said.

‘Why not?” Payton asked.

“Oh, you must be joking, right?” he asked her.

“I…. I mean I know you fight, but you should still want to see her.”

“I rather be here, with you.”

****

“Where the hell you think your going?” Robbie asked, walking into the bedroom.

“I’m going to the wrap party with Joe.”

“I thought I told you to stop hanging with that douche?” he asked.

“You did, but it’s just a party... and he’s not a douche.”

“I’m telling you right now, you better not go.”

“Why not?” Payton asked, annoyed with him already.

“He’s a married man.”

“What the f*ck does that have to do with a wrap party for his f*cking movie? She half yelled half asked. “I’m not going to jump into with him.”

“I haven’t even met him and I can tell he wants you.”

“No he doesn’t.”

“He does, its obvious, I don’t know how you can’t see it.”

“He’s married.”

“That doesn’t mean shit.”

“I don’t care about what the f*ck your even saying, I’m going.”

Fine, you go, f*ck his brains out for all I care, but don’t expect to get back into this house whatever day or time you get back.”

“It won’t be that heart braking, infect it wont be heart braking at all” she yelled, running down the stairs.

“Good, have a great time” he yelled back.

“Better time then I could ever have with you” she yelled, before walking out the front door, slamming it behind her.
