Our Destiny is Unknown

It’s been 12 years since Luke has died and Taylor made that promise. Taylor and I still keep Luke alive very much in our hearts and I think Luke’s death is something that will make us closer than your average mother and son. Taylor has managed to keep his promise of saying what he really wants to say and not saying goodbye. When I finally told him Luke and I’s entire story I’ve noticed that he tries to live life to its complete fullest and has me tag along with him. So in a weird way I guess there were a very extremely small amount of positives that came from Luke’s death. But sometimes when I am really down and I just really need Luke with me I get lost in my most prized memory of him proposing and everything starts to turn around and in a weird way I feel like he’s standing right there with me holding my hips and whispering in my ear “I knew you could make it. And I’m always here. I told you goodbye wasn’t forever and that is what I meant.”
