I didn't stand out. I was never the gorgeous whore. I never dared try anything new. I wasn't the perfect daughter, or the hot little sister. Everything about me just screamed average. I wasn't stupid. I wasn't even ignorant in the sense that I knew I loved him more than he loved me. Just like any other girl, I was something to tamper with, his own little puppet. But identical to everything else painful in my life, this didn't matter. The emotional scarring, the mental bruises, the words...I could cover them up. I was just another pretty face.
