Two Worlds Collide

As I stood outside the window watching Selena I couldn’t help but let my mind wonder. I thought about everything that happened in the past three years. I thought about what happened the past weekend. I thought about everything that happened yesterday. I also thought about her.

“Justin, everything okay?” I heard my mom ask beside me. I look over at her and I couldn’t help but feel guilty. She gave up her life just so I can live mine. Everything my mom knew and love she had to give up just so we can move out to the states. I don’t regret making the decision. Trust me I really don’t. I just sometimes feel guilty for transitioning my mom and I to a new place, a new life.

“Yeah mom, I’m fine!” I smiled, “I’m just getting my nerves in check before we head to the plane.”

“I’m sure you will have a blast. You always wanted to do this when you were younger.” She replied.

A shrill of laughter interrupted me. I turned towards the window and saw Selena doing flips in mid air. I laughed at her expression. Because the fans were on so high, they stretched your cheeks. Selena had goggles on to protect her eyes and it was just priceless.

A few minutes later Selena walked out. I busted up laughing

“Okay Bieber, what’s so funny.” She flushed

“Your-ha ha- hair- ha ha!” I doubled over laughing. She turned towards the window and shrieked.

“My hair! Oh well.” She laughed. Her hair was all over the place. It surly looked like she just rolled out of bed.

“Alright. Is everyone ready to head to the plane?” Jason asked. we all nodded and headed out as we attached our helmets to our goggles.

“So Justin! You ready to check this off our list?” I heard a voice ask me.

I turned around and saw Ryan, and Chelsey standing behind us in the same suits. Chelsey’s manager and parents were with her but they weren’t dressed up.

I gave Ryan a high five. “I didn’t know you two would be joining!” I laughed

“Yeah this butthead over here convinced me to come along. He said he wouldn’t stop talking until I agreed.” Chelsey said as she hopped up and down trying to adjust her suit.

“Hey Ryan! Hey Chelsey! Are you guys ready for some fun?” Selena asked coming up to us. It appeared that the four of us would be going in a separate plane and would meet up with the parents in the air.

“Are you crazy! This is insane!” Chelsey cried.

“once you get into the air and jump in wont be so bad” Jason said coming up to the four of us. “So are you all ready to get into the plane and have a great time?”

“Yeah” we all replied.

He nodded and walked us over towards a small jet plane. When we got onto the plane we noticed that it wasn’t a regular plane. It had a bench seat on each side that had 4 sets of seatbelts.

“Alright strap in and we will be taking off in five minutes” Jason said before going to talk to the pilot.

“Guy’s I’m not ready!” Selena freaked out next to me.

“This was your idea Sel. You can’t back out now.” I said placing my hand on her bouncing knee.

“Yeah I agree with Justin. Jason said that once we jump it won’t be so bad.” Chelsey said across from us.

“Just breath and close your eyes.” I said soothingly

She did as told and a few minutes later we were taking off. I turned to look out the little window and saw the dirt fields getting smaller and smaller then I saw the hills and then I saw the little water ways. Before I knew it we were thousands of feet up in the air. The only thing that surrounded us was the clouds and the open sky.
