Two Worlds Collide

Loving him

Jessica’s P.O.V

They. Broke. Up?

“No! I mean you can’t. Why?!” I groaned as I stared at my two friends silently freaking out. I knew of my feelings for Justin and I knew now that he was single I wouldn’t be able to control myself around him since Taylor left for filming.

“What do you mean we can’t?” Chelsey asked confused.

Justin looked just as confused but I could tell he knew exactly why I was freaking out, “Because you two were so happy together!” I stated. Oh how I was so wrong. I knew for a fact that Justin was not as happy as he proclaimed to be.

“Victoria,” Justin started knowing not to use my real name because we were in public. “It’s okay. We’re happy being just friends. Why is it such a big deal that we broke up?”

“I uh-I just thought you guys looked so cute together and I didn’t want you to break up so fast.” I said quickly. Chelsey looked at me not believing a word I said since she gave me her ‘we’ll-talk-later’ look.

“Um I’ll just ignore the fact that I don’t believe one word you said. Anyways shouldn’t we be heading into the board room for the meeting? I’m afraid to face Scooter now.” Justin stated turning around to start walking toward the room.

“Yeah you go ahead. Victoria and I will be up there soon.” Chelsey said. Justin nodded his head slowly before turning fully around and walking towards the elevators that we were suppose to take. We waited until Justin was in the elevator before Chelsey turned to me.

“Talk” she said sternly as she crossed her arms.

I looked down and sighed before looking back up at her, “What is the real reason as why you guys broke up?”

She looked at me like I was joking, “What? I don’t know.”

She sighed, “I broke up with him because I figured out that he wasn’t really into the relationship like I thought he was. During our date last week I caught him zoning out majority of the time and when I asked him what was wrong he almost called me Jessica but caught himself. Jess,” She whispered my name. “He’s in love with you and it’s killing him seeing you with Taylor.”

I put my hands over my eyes, “I know and my feelings for Justin are growing tremendously. I just can’t leave Taylor. Do you know how bad that would crush him? Especially since he told me he loved me not to long ago.”

She stared at me, “But do you love him?”

“I do love Taylor. So much” I whispered

She shook her head, “Do you really love him? Like he loves you?”

I knew what she was getting at. And I won’t lie, I have thought about it multiple times throughout the day and before I went to sleep at night. “I don’t know.”

“You need to figure out which guy you want Jess. I know you and Taylor have been through a lot together but is he really the guy you want to spend your free time with? Think about which guy you have more in common with before you make your decision.” She said as she started walking towards the elevators.

I sighed once more as I followed her knowing she was right and that it was time I put a stop in this battle that was going on around my heart. I needed to know which guy I would be more happier with and I needed to figure it out before this tour started.

As the elevator door dinged shut I leaned against the door and closed my eyes. I knew I needed to clear my mind for the meeting in a few minutes but I was having trouble doing so. A certain light brown haired guy was haunting my thoughts and I couldn’t help but enjoy his face plastered in my mind.

“We’re here.” I heard Chelsey say as the elevator doors opened. I opened my eyes and followed her out and towards a room where I saw my manager standing outside the door with her arms crossed.

“What took you so long?” She asked

“Sorry I had to use the restroom really bad.” I smiled as I walked into the room where I saw Justin, Scooter, Chelsey’s manager and a few other guys who were dressed in suits sitting around a long oval table. I took a seat that was next to Justin on one side while Chelsey took the seat on his other side.

“Now that the remaining two/thirds of the tour mates are here we can get started.” One man in a dark navy suit spoke up as he stood up followed by on other man in a black suit.

“The opening show is just around the corner and we have lots to get taken care of. First we need to pick out the designs for your busses. Now since there are three of you we need to decided if we should go with single pictures of each musician or if we should do a group picture.” The guy in the black suit said

“If we went with a group picture we would need to schedule a photo shoot with a photographer and we don’t have time for that. They still need to create their set list and chorography for their music.” My manager said.

The men in the suits nodded their heads in agreements before the one in the navy suit spoke, “Now if you were to do a group picture we could get it done today and have the picture ready by tomorrow morning to be painted on the busses. What do you say?”

I looked over at Justin and Chelsey, “What do you guys think?”

Justin and Chelsey exchanged glances before looking at their managers who gave them slight nods, “I think that’s a good idea.” Justin stated

“Now hold on. Are you sure that if we go with the group picture, it will be done by today?” My manager asked slightly irritated

“If they agree with the picture then we can have them in the studio in two hours and be out no later than eight tonight.” The guy in the grey suit said.

I saw my manager nod before walking out of the room to make a phone call. Great, just what I needed. I was not in the mood to do a six hour photo shoot. I just wanted to go home put on pj’s and climb into bed and watch movies.

“Alright group picture it is. Now onto the tour dates. This tour is scheduled to be a seven month tour but we’re splitting the tour up. You will tour for three months in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, then you will get a month break before you head over sea’s to do a four month tour there.” The guy in the grey suit said causing Justin, Chelsey, and I look drop our pens.

“A se-seven month tour?” Chelsey whispered.

“Did you expect to tour the entire world in just a few months?” the guy in the black suit asked.

Chelsey shook her head since she was to stunned to speak. I couldn’t believe it. This would probably the longest tour I have ever been on. What was Taylor going to say when he found out that I would be gone for seven months? Sure whenever he was free he could fly out to see me but how many times would that happen? And it all depends if we would even still be together during tour. What about Carly? What about my sister? Or my parents for that matter. Sure I could travel by myself since I was mature enough, but would it really be fair to keep them away from their lives for seven months? I know I promised Carly that she would go on tour with me for a little bit but how long would that be?

“Victoria?” I heard someone ask. I looked over towards where the voice came from and I noticed that everyone one in the room was looking at me.

“Yeah?” I asked not sure who I was supposed to be talking to.

“You seemed distant. Everything alright with the tour plans?” the guy in the navy suit asked

“Yes! Everything is great! This tour will be amazing.” I said. They nodded their heads and continued their talk. I ignored them as I let my mind wonder to the boy sitting next to me.

I needed to figure out what I was going to do about Taylor and Justin. Spending seven months with Justin didn’t seem all that bad because I could actually see Chelsey and I having a great time on tour with him. But now that he is back on the market I don’t think I would be able to hide my feelings for him any longer. When we kissed, oh sparks flew instantly. When Taylor surprised me later that night, part of me was upset because it wasn’t Justin.

I won’t lie when I say this, but sometimes when I’m listening to his albums I wish I was the girl he is singing out in those songs. When I was up on stage singing “Overboard” with him, I forgot about everyone that was in the crowd, I forgot about the band playing behind us, I also forgot about Taylor. When you’re looking at that one person and everything around you just vanishes, it was like almost love at first site. But when I look at Taylor all I see is a really good friend, when I look at Justin, I see a guy I would enjoy going on moonlit walks in the park, having a romantic dinner in a Italian bistro where there are violins and a piano playing as Justin and I share a plate of angel hair noodles and marinara not knowing that we picked up the same noodle until we kiss.

“Victoria,” I heard someone call. I snapped out of my day dream to see my prince charming himself staring at me. “Hey welcome back to earth, how was your trip?”

I smiled up at Justin before looking around and seeing the room empty, “Where is everyone?”

“Well as you left earth we finished the meeting. Everyone left for lunch, Chelsey tried getting you to snap out of the little world you were in but she failed. Scooter told me to wait for you.” Justin said as he leaned up against the table in front of me.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting.” I blushed as I stood up and pushed in my chair.

He shrugged his shoulders, “It’s alright. So I don’t know about you but I’m pretty hungry and I wanted to know if you wanted to accompany me to lunch?”

I thought about it and smiled,” Sure. I would love to. Where did you have in mind?”

He looked at me as we walked out of the room and down one of the many long halls, “Honestly, I don’t know. What’s good around here?”

“Well what type of food do you like?” I asked him as I twisted a strand of the wig hair.

He sighed in thought, “Everything actually. I love food.”

I nodded as I thought about where we should go. I know that there is a small bistro down by Sunset and Vine. It served the best soups and sandwiches. “How about we go down to this small bistro that I cant seem to remember the name of.”

“I’ve never heard a restaurant being called “That I cant seem to remember the name of.” That’s a pretty interesting name.” Justin joked as we finally came towards the elevators.

I rolled my eyes, “Ha ha so funny! No but really, it’s a really good restaurant down on Sunset and Vine. They have really good soups, sandwiches, and burgers.”

He nodded as he held his arm out motioning me to enter the elevator first, “That sounds like a great plan. I’m in the mood for a sandwich, so let’s go there.”

I nodded my head and pulled out my car keys along with my sunglasses, “Okay, well I’m driving.”

I heard him gulp, “What? I’m not that bad of a driver.” I confessed.

“Yeah right! Chelsey told me about how you were with an old friend and you crashed your friend’s car into someone’s wall.” He said

My eyes went wide, “I can’t believe she told you! That was confidential.”

He laughed, “Sweetie, it’s all over YouTube. She just saved me from looking.”

I narrowed my eyes as we left the elevator and into another long plain wall. We didn’t say anything else towards each other. I think we enjoyed the silence that fell over us, it wasn’t awkward, it was, perfect.

Perfect. That’s one word I didn’t like. People always talked about how one person was so perfect when in reality no one really is perfect. Fans think their favorite musician, movie star, TV, or whoever they cherish is perfect when we’re not. One person may be better at one thing the another but they’re still equal. No one is perfect, we’re actually far from perfect. As I looked over at Justin I saw just a regular teenage boy who just got really lucky to become a musician.

As I looked, and really look at him I could almost point out his flaws. As I turned back and got ready to put my sunglasses on I thought about how a lot of people proclaimed me to be little miss perfect when I’m actually not. My face isn’t smooth or cleared of acne without the help face products. My hair isn’t shiny or anything without hair products. Nothing about me is perfect. Everything that makes someone seem perfect has the help of something or someone.

“You ready?” I heard Justin ask.

I looked up at him and saw that we were standing in front of the darkened glass doors that lead to the outside. I looked out the door and saw a lot of paps waiting to catch a glimpse of some celebrity and put that picture into a magazine and place a false rumor about that picture.

I smiled, “Yeah, let’s give them a show?”

Justin knew what I was talking about as he placed his ray bans upon his face and wrapped in arm around my shoulder as he pushed open the door once I had my own ray bans on. I couldn’t help but smile because of Justin’s arm around my shoulder and the shock I felt when his shoulder touched mine.

I smiled my “million dollar smile” at the paps as they shouted questions at Justin and I. I ignored their questions as we walked over towards my car before I stopped suddenly and saw a group of fans trying to get our attention but couldn’t because of the ignorant paps.

I tapped Justin on the shoulder, “Look” I pointed over towards the group of fans of to the side.

“Come on. We have time to sign a few autographs.” He said as he moved his arm and grabbed my hand, as a spark flew when he laced his fingers through mine. I knew this would really be a hay day for the paps.

Screams started as we got closer towards the group. “Hi guys!” I laughed as I let go of Justin’s hand and walked over towards a group of girls that were holding a poster of me.

“H-hi Vi-Victoria.” A young girl stuttered as her friends went into shock.

“Hi there sweetie, how are you?” I laughed again as I gave her a hug and moved towards her friends and gave them a hug as well, one girl started crying and I instantly felt bad.

“I’m Sienna, and these are my friends Kayla, Sasha, and Jazzy.” The first girl, Sienna said.

“Aw you four have such pretty names!” I gushed as I signed their items.

“Ca-can we take a picture with you?” the other girl, who I believed to be Jazzy, asked.

I smiled, “Sure.”

After taking a picture with them I said my goodbyes as I turned and moved towards the other girls and boy who were waiting. Some asked Justin and I to pose together with groups while others asked for single shots and just autographs. Justin and I finally bid our goodbyes as we left the group and headed towards my car.

“That was fun,” Justin said after we were finally in the walls of my car.

“Indeed it was.” I stated as I buckled my seat belt and started the ignition and pulled out of the parking space and onto the surface street.

“On of the girls that asked for my autograph also asked if we were dating.” I heard Justin say. I almost, almost stepped on the break peddle when he said this. “I said we were really good friends.

My heart crashed, slightly, “oh okay.”

“May I turn on the radio?” He asked a few seconds later.

I laughed and slightly blushed, “Yeah go ahead!”

He nodded as he messed with the buttons looking for a decent station. I said we were just really good friends repeat over in my mind as I drove towards the Bistro. Did he not like me in the way I liked him? I mentally slapped myself when I asked that stupid question. If he didn’t like me that way he wouldn’t have kissed me like he did. I looked over at him slightly and saw that he was dancing in his seat and mouthing the words to the song that was playing. I didn’t pay any attention to try and figure out which song it was since I had other things on my mind.

Two things I realized as I drove and I knew I couldn’t hold back anymore.

One, I was madly in-love with the guy in the passenger seat.

Two, I needed to break up with Taylor.

Aw no comments :( That's a big boo. It's okay though. A lot of people are probably taking finals or going on vacation to see family or whatever you do during these holidays. Anyways it's pretty long, i've been working on it for a few days instead of one night like majority of my chapters.
Tell me what you think? Also, WHO'S EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS?! Or which ever holiday you celebrate during this time of the year?
