Little Remains

The October weather was starting to kick in, Halloween break was now in a week's time. Time has gone so fast. I walked into the main student entrance. I heard random yelling the busy buzz of the school filled the place as usual. People catching up, conversing about many different topics. I loved the atmosphere; it was more or less a happy one

I finally reached my locker when I noticed Joanne Kane and Leah Gavin I knew them simply from being friends with Sam Grey from my English class

I felt instantly sick, panic set in "Maybe she's on holiday and it skipped her mind" I said quickly in panicky tone. "I wish that was true, but her parents don't even know where she is" Joanne declared she started to cry

Leah stopped crying "Joanne I'm sure she's okay" Leah said, she looked doubtful

"I'm sorry Leah and Joanne" I whispered quietly, I was becoming cynical hearing this news. Suddenly I didn't feel so happy and ready for school. I walked off not knowing how to fully feel. The usual happy atmosphere, didn't feel it anymore. This was a safe friendly town keyword being was, Sam was missing or worse dead all these thoughts ran through my head. Was she kidnapped? Where is she now? Who would do such a thing to Sam a good person who did no wrong?
