Erin's POV
"C'mon, Erin, we'e gotta pick up Naci!" Joe called from downstairs.
"I'm coming!" I yelled back, "Sorry I have a watermelon under my shirt that doesn't allow me to walk fast enough."
"It's fine." He chuckled as I waddled down the stairs.
"Don't laugh at me!" I whined.
"Babe, I'm not." He said.
"Yes you are." I pouted.
"Nuh-uh." He shook his head and helped me into the car.
"Uh-huh." I nodded.
"I'm not, I like the watermelon!" He kissed my stomach then me.
"Suck up." I stated.
He shrugged, "I'll be right back, I have to get something. Text Staci and tell her we're leaving."
"Okay." I watched him run back inside and took out my phone.

Joe walked out of the house and put something in the trunk, "Alright, let's go."
"What was that? And what took you so long?"
"Something for Nick and he called."
"Oh."
"Yup."

"I'm just busting her chops because she set herself up for a thats what she said joke."
"Oh."
"Yup."
We pulled into their driveway so Joe beeped.
"Hey guys." He greeted as they got in.
"Hey, Joey." Staci said.
"Yo." Nick stated.
The ride to the restaurant was pretty short but neither of the boys talked which was odd for them.
"Wow, Staci, you're getting big." I said as I got out of the car.
"Well I'd be bigger but-" She started.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I apologized, remembering the accident.
"It was probably for a good reason, we're just praying the other two are okay." She shrugged and we started walking.
"Me too." I said. "Wow, it looks really dead here."
"Yeah." She nodded and walked in, "That's so weird. I know this place just opened up but it's always packed."
"I know right?" I questioned and walked through the door Joe was holding open for me.
"SURPRISE!" A bunch of people yelled.
"Oh my god." Staci and I said at once while taking the scene in. There were baby shower decorations everywhere and a bunch of our friends were there.
"We win." Nick and Joe smirked.
"Ugh, not you too!" Staci stated.
"I did it just for the fun of it." Nick shrugged.
Everyone laughed and Staci and I went to talk to them. After what seemed like forever we drove home with a ton of new stuff. When we dropped off Naci, Joe helped Nick take in all his stuff while Staci and I talked about how surprised we were. Once we made sure they had everything and were inside, we went home.
"Did you like the surprise?" Joe smiled, sitting next to me on the couch.
"Yeah, I did. Thank you." I said and kissed him.
"No problem, babe. I think we're set on baby stuff now, though." He chuckled while looking at the pile of stuff on the kitchen table.
"Want me to help you bring it up?" I asked.
"I got it." He stated and got up to put some of the stuff upstairs.
"Are you sure?" I questioned, walking over.
"I'm positive. It's really light and you should be resting." He sort of glared.
"But Joey I wanna help!" I whined.
"Fine, take this." He handed me the littlest bag.
"Gee, this is so helpful." I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs.
"It is." He nodded, taking everything else up with him.
After we opened and organized everything we sat against the crib and looked at the room, "Now it's perfect."
"Almost." I said.
"Almost?!" He asked.
"Devon's not here yet!" I chuckled, putting my hands on my stomach and feeling him kick.
"I know, but he will be soon; there is exactly one month left until you are due." He informed, putting his hand next to mine.
"I could go over." I shrugged.
"Yeah, but he could be born tomorrow too!" He stated.
"True." I nodded and laid my head against his arm.
We sat there for a few more minutes before we decided to get ready for bed then watch Transformers to finish off the great day.
