Clear Visions 1

They boarded the plane after a long wait in the airport departure lounge. Derrick was tired. He wanted to sleep. Though he knew he couldn’t sleep on planes. He had tried before. And failed miserably. He hoped his plan worked and that Ben would be at the other side to pick him up and drive him to his parents. He didn’t want to have to rent a car and drive there. He would probably fall asleep, get pulled by the cops or worse. Crash with Jenny and Shane in the car. That was something he really did not want to do.
He sat next to Jenny and looked at her. She looked back and smiled.
‘I take it you’ll be sleeping all this journey too?’
She giggled and kissed him. She shook her head trying to insure him she wasn’t going to sleep all this journey too. He didn’t believe her and for a good reason as she slept all the way back to Florida. He sighed as he saw her eyes closed. He leaned back and closed his eyes and for the first time he fell asleep on a plane
