I met her on the streets

Home sweet home

Alex sighed as he walked towards this parents room.

He stood there practicing what he would say, his eyes closed like he did at the front door.

"Father, mother I have brought home a girl that I almost hit with my car who doesn't seem to have a place to say so can she stay at our house tonight?"

Alex then heard a squeal.

"Honey, you finally brought home your girlfriend! Oh thank god, I was begining to think that you liked guys...." His mother jumped up in glee.

Even his father nodded in agreement.

"Mother she is not my girlfriend and what? You thought I was gay?"

"Ohhh, I want to meet her! Come on now Alex, lead the way." His mother said laughing nervously trying to avoid answering his question.

"So your name is?" Alex's mom asked gently as she smiled.

The girl quickly wrote down her name as she blushed because of all the attention directed at her.

"Ah... I see you're name is Toni." Alex's mom nodded with her hand claps together and a wide smile on her face.

Toni nodded biting her lip, face pulled into a nervous expression. Her body tensed up, her shoulders hunched and her hand nervously twitched playing with the cool metal spiral of the notepad.

Suddenly Alex's mom grabbed Toni's face and started moving it to different angles.

"Alex, honey. If you choose to make her your bride she will give you very beautiful babies!" His mom exclaims happily.

Everyone except for Alex and Toni nodded.

"Your mother speaks only the truth son."

"Mom and dad are right."

"Please stop talking." Alex says with a tone of annoyance.

"Anyways," Alex's mom continues.

"You can stay in the guest room Toni, I'll ask one of the maids to send up clothes and towels for your bath."

Toni smiled at her with a look of gratitude and took her hand and started shaking it.

"She says thank you." Alex translated for her, secretly smiling too.
