A Little Piece of Heaven

Normal POV

Me and Zacky stayed out all night.

Me crying.

Throwing up.

And then crying again.

And Zacky hugging, soothing and hugging me even tighter.

He had helped me so much.

He's the only one I would have been able to break down with like that.

Or Val of course, but she was busy.

He'd helped me sort through everything.

I'd finally figured it all out in my head.

We started our slow walk back to the bus.

We were both pretty much dead on our feet.

And each step I took, my feet felt heavier and heavier.

We made it to the bus and the second we walked up the stairs, we were bombarded with hugs.

"Are you okay?"

"We were so worried."

"Where have you been?"

All the questions just went over my head.

I could barely think.

I pulled out of Val and Johnny's hug.

"I'm fine." I said, smiling over at Jimmy.

"Are you sure?" Matt asked.

"Yeah. Just really tired." I said slowly.

I looked up to be met by Brian's eyes.

They were filled with pain.

Even after what he did it still stabbed me through the heart.

To see him so hurt, and broken.

"I'm so sorry, baby." He whispered.

The entire bus went quiet.

Probably anticipating how I was going to react.

"I'm tired. We can talk later." I said, emotionlessly.

"But Cyn---," He tried again.

"Zacky, you coming?" I interrupted, turning to see Zacky in the middle of Matt and Jimmy.

"Yeah babe, I'm coming." He told me with a small smile.

I saw Matt send me a small smile and I tried to send him one back.

I was just too tired.

"We'll talk later." I heard him whisper to Matt and Jimmy.

He was probably going to tell them what happened while we were gone.

I didn't mind.

If they didn't ask Zacky, they'd ask me.

And I'm not sure I'm ready to talk about it yet.

I held my hand out to him and he grabbed it, giving it an encouraging squeeze.

I walked past Brian who still had that pained look in his eyes.

I stopped and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Later." I repeated softly.

He looked stunned and placed his hand over the spot I just kissed.

"Good morning everyone!" I yelled happily.

Zacky laughed as I pulled him into the bunk area, him closing the door behind him.
