I Know, You Know

Autumn Connors was best friends with Shawn Spencer and Burton Guster back in high school. They lost contact when she moved to Washington to go to college and become a writer.

Well, like many plans, hers didn't work out like she expected it to. She became a police officer and worked her way up to detective. Now she's back in Santa Barbara, having been transferred to their department.

At first things are fine, normal. But Autumn knows Shawn too well after growing up with him. She grows increasingly suspicious of him as time passes, and has to decide what should be more important—loyalty to a former friend or loyalty to her job.

And, as it turns out, the decision will only become even more complicated. While Autumn is forced to choose between her job and Shawn, Shawn finds himself being forced to choose between Juliet and Autumn. Her being back brings back all the old feelings he had once had for her, feelings he never actually told her about, told anyone about.

Decisions will have to be made. And nobody’s life will ever be the same.
