“So John’s taking me out on a date tonight.”

“I know.”

“I figured you would”, I said looking into her blue eyes. “Could you tell me what exactly he has up his sleeves?”

“Nope.”

“Daisy, come on.”

“I promised him I wouldn’t”, she said with a smile.

“But I’m your friend, you’ve known me longer.”

“A promise is a promise.”

I watched her bring her hands to her lips motioning over them as though it was a zipper and then throwing the key away. I rolled my eyes with a big smile on my face at how adorable she was. I heard footsteps being stopped at the door. I turned around seeing John standing there with a grin on his face. I turned my expression back to Daisy as he walked closer.

“Was she trying to figure out what was going to happen tonight?”

“Yes, but I resisted her sweet voice and beautiful eyes like you told me”, she said looking over at me and then back at John with a satisfied grin.

“Good job young Jedi, now bump it”, he said putting out his fist.

I watched as their fist bumped into each other with a laugh coming from both of their lips. I looked over at them a smile playing on my lips at how adorable they were.

“We should get going though; I have to go over to Tim’s house to record something for Pat.”

“For his new band?”

“Bingo!” he said looking over at me with a smirk before looking over at me with a smirk. “And then our hot date. Bye Daisy”, he said placing a kiss on her forehead.

“Bye Daisy”, I said placing a kiss on the same place. “See you tomorrow.”

“Have fun!”

I gave her a smile before John grabbed my hand into his. We walked out to his car; it finally got fixed so he was the one driving us every morning. We walked out to the car a smile planted on his face; I couldn’t help but to keep looking over at him with questioning eyes.

“What do I even wear?!”

“Anything for all I care”, he said before turning to look at me. “Preferably nothing.”

“John.”

“Alison”, he said in a mocking tone of voice. “Just wear anything, but bring a jacket. It’s going to be warm outside so just a light one.”

“So we’re going to be outside.”

“Why must you be such a pain in the butt?”

“You know I hate surprises.”

“I know, I know babe”, he said leaning over to give me a soft kiss on my cheek. “But I promise it will be worth it.”

We got outside my house; he stopped to look at me with a smile. I watched as he eyes scanned the driveway to make sure my father wasn’t there and when he didn’t see the big truck he leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips.

“See you at 6 beautiful.”

I nodded my head with a smile before walking inside the house, a big smile planted on my face. I laid there in bed just thinking about John and how everything just seemed right with him. I laid around for a couple of hours before getting ready. Just floral dress with a pink cardigan, I slipped on my flats. My hair down in a wavy mess and then I placed contacts in my eyes. I didn’t bother with make up before walking outside once I got the text from John. I saw his black BMW parked outside my house. I got in his car and noticed him staring over at me.

“What?”

“You look beautiful.”

“Thank you.”

He leaned in giving me a soft kiss; I loved the taste of his lips. He gave me a smile as he pulled away and then drove off. I sat there with my hands on my lap looking straight out the window wondering where we were going. But when we ended up outside his house I couldn’t help but to laugh. He gave me a smile before we walked out straight to his backyard. And once we got there I couldn’t help but to be surprised to see what I was being met with. I looked around at the candles set up and the big screen and projector being set up on his yard.

“What is this?”

“I borrowed my uncle’s projector”, he said grabbing my hand. Then I bought a bunch of these OFF candles and then bought dinner. I found out from Daisy that Aladdin is your favorite movie.”

“Yeah”, I said with a smile.

“Well come on, sit down. I’m going to push play.”

I looked over at him still shocked at what was being set up for just me. I took a seat on the blankets and pillowed that were set up and watched John run to turn the projector on. He ran back to me and wrapped an arm around me.

“Where should we start?” he asked pulling out the food from the paper bag.

I looked away from the starting credits back to John and looked at him in disbelief. He looked away from the food that he was pulling away out of the paper bag. He looked over at me with a confused look on his face.

“What?”

“I just can’t believe you did this.”

“Is it a good or bad, I can’t believe you did this? Because I’ve heard a lot of bad ones and it sucks.”

“It’s a good one.”

“Well then good”, he said with a smile looking into my eyes. “I’ve never done anything like this before, so my Mom helped me with everything.”

“Remind me to thank your Mother.”

“And what about me?”

I looked over at him with a smile plastered on my face; this smile has been a constant thing when I was around John. It was as though it was painted on my face. So I leaned in and placed my lips against his in a sweet kiss which he accepted gladly. I pulled away from the innocent kiss to see John looking at me with a smile.

“Thank you John.”

Her hand was creeping on my leg but her eyes were glued to the big screen in front of us. She didn’t understand what she was going to me with a simple touch of her hand. I felt her move closer into me positioning her body so that it was laying on me. I looked up into the sky as her hand accidently slid across my lap.

“I love this movie”, she said with her head on my shoulder, her breath hitting all the right places.

“I know.”

When the ending credits were rolling she shifted over to take a look at me, smiles on her face making her look even more beautiful than ever. I leaned in and kissed her lips softly, placing my hand on the side of her face. I pulled away from her lips only to be pulled into another kiss. Our lips pressed against each other in an innocent kiss, I don’t think I have ever kissed a girl this long and not tried to deepen the kiss. I was feeling that need to feel her tongue against mine, but I didn’t know how she would react. Innocence was up and running with Alison and I wasn’t always good at dealing with it so I never made any moves.

When I felt her hand go up to my neck, her soft skin touching mine was making my skin turn hot. I couldn’t take it so I placed my hand on the back of her head to get a better angle. Wow, I didn’t know what to respond. I watched her cheeks heat up even more as she looked everywhere but my eyes. I don’t think I have ever been so aroused without doing something sexual in my life.

“I want to learn how to make out”, she said in a low voice. “But never mind this whole thing is kind of awkward.”

“I’ll teach you, but it’s not like I’m the best kisser.”

“Way better than I am.”

“Thank you”, I said with a proud smile. “But first get relax, stop being so proper and stiff”, I said shaking her shoulders. “I’m just going to give you a couple of small kisses.”

She nodded her head looking at me looking a bit scared, but all I could think about how hot this situation was. I leaned in and kissed her lips softly, doing it a couple of times before pulling away slightly so I could talk.

“Mmm, yeah”, I said pulling away from her lips. “And if you feel like you’re losing your breath your safe best is to always kiss the neck.”
