Secrets of the Forest
Prologue
27 April, 1810
"BETHANNE! BETHANNE!" CRIED the mother of a young terrified girl.
"Bethanne where are you!?" nothing but the stillness of the night... The wind begins to blow, shivers run up her back. "Have you found her yet?" she yells to her husband, "Nothing yet! Keep searching! Whatever you do, don't go in the forest! I don't want to lose you also!" She
searches desperately. creak~~~ crack~~~ thud! "Bethanne? Is that you?" The wind picks up again, a loud shriek from inside the forest. "Bethanne! Oh sweet maker above! Lewis! I found her! She's in the forest!" She begins to run into the forest. "NO! Stay out of the forest!" He grabs her arm. "Whatever has her in there, is sure to make a meal out of you as well." But.. But you can't mean, Oh... Lewis... We've lost our Bethanne?" Tears begin to run down her cheeks. "I'm afraid so my dear... I'm afraid so..."

I'm having a bit of writers block. I know how I want the story to go, just trying to figure out where it would be best to start it. Don't hate me if it takes a few more days before I get the next chapter up there. o.O
