Forever in the Embrace

I wake up to the blinding morning light that's stretched acrossed buildings
of various sizes. I immediately feel alerted that I needed to get to he beach
earlier than usually so I could test the man's word. My outfit was already layout
over my opened dresser drawer. It had a cream flowly v neck shirt and
light blue booty shorts with some layers of gold jewelry. I put it on hesitantly
not that the man could have possibly seen me from the shack, it just always
feels like he is watching me.

I take a look at my alarm, 6:30 and grabbed my iPod to head out the door.
The air was crisp and the colors of Maine were warm. It was always so
peaceful, like sitting in the beach's sand meditating and letting the waves
flow through you. I do this on occasions when I'm stressed and it seems to be
the only thing that could ever be called "peace".

I made it down to the beach and headed towards the metal roof and rotted
wooden everything else shack. It was silent, when I stepped in trying
to imitate the silence the floors creaked as I tip toed on them. At first after minuets
of walking around I didn't think he was there and about headed out. That's when
I caught a look of him peering out of a corner. I should've been frightened
but I wasn't, I was attracted.

Somehow in the dimmed light he was gorgeous, beyond anything I remembered.
He came over to me staring down at my outfit. From my tan Greek styled sandals
to my layers of jewelry hanging over my v neck. He looked tempted or
seduced but after some struggle pulled himself back.

" Good morning." he said, his voice was gruff and tired sounding.
" I didn't mean to wake you so early, did you get any rest?" I
responded.
" Hun— I mean, Vanessa, I never get any sleep."
" Oh, sorry...." my voice trailed of and I looked down at the floor.

" Well, um. What do you wanna do?" he tried to start another conversation.
" I don't know I haven't been around in this town for but a month
so, could you show me how to live here? That is ofcourse if you have the
time." I said tricking him into taking me all over the place for a day.
" sure." he replied happily.
