It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

I Never Saw This Coming.

Alex's POV.

Bob continued to kiss me, making me moan.
This was what we usually had in mind for after the tours.
It was nice to be home, though.
Mikey had gotten out of my head.
I couldn't think about him and kiss Bob at the same time, it was just too weird.
For all I know, I'd probably get carried away and think I was kissing Mikey.
Cami, stop that, I yelled at myself in my mind.
I had pulled Bob close, feeling his shoulder blades.
The room started heating up.
It felt so hot and sticky.
As Bob reached for my shirt, we heard something from outside.
Bob's lips quickly left mine as he turn his head towards our bedroom door.
He threw on a white t-shirt and walked into the small living room.
I leapt off the bed, rushing to his side.
I wrapped my arm around him as we cautiously walked towards the apartment door.
Someone was knocking.
Bob peered through the eyehole before opening it.
I couldn't think of someone who'd be on our doorstep at 4:30 in the morning.
The door was opened, and before us stood someone I wouldn't expect.
It was Ashe who had been knocking on our door.
Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy.
She had been crying.
"Ashe!" I was startled.
She slowly looked up.
"Sorry if this is so sudden. Would you two mind if I stayed here for tonight?" she asked.
What had happened between her and Gerard? I wondered.
"Sure, that's fine," Bob told her. "Come in, please," he spoke again.
Ashe nodded and took a seat on the couch.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Uh, what? Oh, yeah, everything's perfectly fine," she obviously lied.
She layed down and rested her head on the one pillow.
"Do you want anything?" Bob asked her.
"No, I'm all set. Thanks, guys."
"Don't worry about it," I told her.
Bob waved a good night, as did I.
We slowly closed our bedroom door and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Bob, what do you think happened?"
"I have no idea, Alex. I'm afraid I don't even want to know."
He put an arm around my shoulder.
"I guess we should go to bed now," I offered.
"Yeah, we probably should."
I climbed underneath the warm sheets and closed my eyes.
I don't think I want to know what happened between Gerard and Ashe, either.
