Gerard’s POV

We arrive at the store and I quickly park the car. Everyone hops off the car and waits for Bob to arrive. Frank’s small figure took a seat dead center on the hood of my car. Now if it had been anyone else I probably be pissed, but he’s just cute and adorable.

“BOB! Hey Bob, over here!” he yells waving his arms over his head. Bob walks over and Frank bounces off eyeing his backpack which I assumed to be his overnight bag.

“Dude, what’s with the Barbie-sized backpack?” Mikey asked, verbalizing Frank’s question.

“I’m staying one night, all I need is clothes for tomorrow. Doesn’t take that much room.”

“DID YOU BRING SCOTT?!” Frank asked wide-eyed. Who’s Scott and why is Frank so excited about Bob bringing him? Bob rolled his eyes then reached into his backpack and pulled out a fluffy light brown teddy bear. Oh, Scott’s a teddy bear, geez, only Frank could get that excited over something so small. Frank snatched it from his friend and hugged it tightly with a goofy grin.

“Geez Frank! Don’t kill him!” Bob snatched Scott back. “How would you feel if people started picking you up and squeezing you?!”

Just then I picked him up and squeezed my life-sized teddy bear. “He might as well be squeezed, he’s cute and adorable just like a teddy bear!”

“Don’t forget he’s the size of one,” Mikey said teasing his little friend.

“Oh ha ha, so funny! Enough with ‘Frank is so little’ jokes. I could start with ‘Mikey is too damn skinny’ jokes, you damn toothpick!” Frank yells angrily.

“Hey, I can gain weight if I want! Can you grow? Yeah, I didn’t think so Shortstack!”

“Chicken legs!”

“Munchkins!”

“Does gagging yourself hurt bulimic?!”

“Do you still need to sit on a stack of phonebooks to reach the table, Dwarf?!”

“It was one time you Anorexic Asshole!”

“Oh I’m the Asshole?! You’re the stupid fucker who takes everything seriously Midget!”

“Enough! Both of you are acting like 10 year olds. Say you’re sorry now!” Ray shouts as if this was a real fight.

“Sorry Mikey.”

“Sorry Frank.” They say sarcastically, but then run to embrace each other tightly.

“Is this normal for them?” Bob asks kind of scared.

“Oh yeah, my brother and Frankie here have been at this since we were just kids. You wouldn’t believe how many fat jokes these two hurt me with! But we were kids so it was alright. I got fed up with their games so I eventually stopped, but these two are just as childish as ever.”

“I’m sorry Gee Bear, you know I never meant any of it Baby,” Frank said kissing me tenderly. “Fwankie was a bad boy, he needs a little punishing.”

“Wait, are you two gay?”

“Yeah, is there a problem with that Bob?” I said maybe a little too defensive.

“OH NO! I just meant I didn’t know is all, sorry.”

“Oh Gee don’t worry about Bob, he’s just like Mikey and Ray, they don’t want to see or hear us and neither does he. Makes people awkward, go figure!”

“Okay, you guys are adorable and all, but the Ray Man is major hungry and he needs some energy for the Fro. So, on to the store?!”

“Yeah we should go. I’ve seen Ray deprived of food, it’s not all sweet and motherly love like normal it pretty damn scary,” I said making a scared face. Bob starts laughing when he realized what the rest of us do. I. Am. Serious. We walk into the store and everyone, with the exception of Frank and I, split up and do our own junk food shopping.

“So Gee, how was your week?”

“Pretty good, you?”

“I saw Sam, she gave me a dirty look, it took everything in me to not kick her ass.”

“That’s nice.”

“I also saw Kyle, he smiled and waved, and it’s going to be really awkward.” Okay I couldn’t help the scold and hint of a pout at those words. I haven’t told anyone, but I secretly threatened Kyle and shoved him into the janitor’s closet. Of course when the janitor found him at 10pm he didn’t say who did it, but he did pee his pant. “Something funny Gee?”

I hadn’t realized, but I was laughing at the thought of Kyle and his peed pants. “If you’re trying to make me jealous, it’s working.”

“Why would you be jealous? You’re the sexy one in the relationship. You’re the one every guy and girl wants, I’m just your pathetic boyfriend who isn’t good enough for you.” I stopped him and looked him straight in his eyes with a hurt look.

“Don’t ever say you’re not good enough! Frank you are the most amazing person to ever come into my life and our relationship is the best thing that’s ever happen to me. There’s no one or anything I’d rather have then you. You are my life, my everything, and I don’t know what I’d be without you. Don’t ever forget that.”

“Okay,” was all he could whisper out. I kissed him passionately pouring all my emotions into that kiss to show him I meant every word and he needs to believe me when I say he’s my everything. He breaks the kiss and while breathing hard, manages to grin bigger than he ever has before.

“Gerard?! Frank?! Where are you two?! You better not be fucking in an aisle!!!”

“MICHAEL?!?! Shut the fuck up people can hear you!” Frank yelled panicking a bit.

“Frank! Omigawd, you’ll never believe who just came up to me!”

“Who?”

“Remember Alicia from English, the one that sits in the front and is super quiet all the time?”

“Yeah, what about her?”

“Well I was reaching for something on the top shelf and, like the klutz I am, dropped everything and I was lying flat out on the floor covered in, well I don’t remember what, but then-“

“Mikey, get to the point!”

“Okay. Well my glasses were knocked off and someone above me was giggling. She helped me up then set my glasses, on the tip of my nose like I like them, and said ‘Aw Mikey, you're so cute’ then walked away. Dude, it was Alicia! She said I was cute!”

“Aw, how cute. Little cute Alicia has a little cute crush on Mikey Wikey!” Frank said imitating a baby to piss Mikey off, which didn’t because he was all loved up over this girl. Sorry to pop your bubble bro, but nope, not again.

“Mikey, not tonight. You’re not getting all lovestruck over a girl tonight. It’s girls free tonight.”

“How come Frank gets to come?”

“Hey! I’m not a girl!”

“Yeah, but you’re Gerard’s boyfriend who is the girl in the relationship.”

“I am not an effeminate gay! I act the way I act because I’m childish, I’m just as much of a guy as you which isn’t much, but still!”

“Whatever. Let’s go, Bob and Ray are already waiting for us.”

“Mikey did you get everything we’d need for our rainbow cookies? I got like 60 bags of skittles.” I looked down into our small basket and realized that at some point Frank managed to get a bunch of bags without me noticing.

“Yeah, all set. And I brought my unicorn, the boy not the girl, she’s at home very sad, but as Gee said. No girls allowed.”



“Everyone settled in for the night?” our hosted asked. We had settled into the Iero’s basement so we couldn’t wake Frank’s parents, I’m not 100% sure they know we are dating so I hope they won’t find us sleeping together, otherwise they better not mind because I’m not giving up this chance. Everyone nods and Frank pulls out the bottle he was hiding behind his back.

“TRUTH AND DARE TIME!” He says excitedly bouncing onto the floor between Mikey and I.
