Her Forbidden Fight

The door slammed and he just leaned against the wall blank faced. Quickly I sat back down on the couch averting my eyes to anything but him.

We sat in what seemed like an endless silence until he broke it.

“What the fuck are you doing here? Are you stupid?” he growled stepping towards me.

“I came to watch a fight.” I growled back, standing up to face him.

“What the fuck? Did he drag you out here? You could get killed!” he sounded real annoyed now.

I just laughed. “If fighting is going to kill me it won’t be from watching lame amateur fighters fight.”

“What do you know about fighting?” he mumbled sounding interested.

“Ace is my uncle. I have been fighting since I was six. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t fight.” I answered

“Well then why would you come here? Go to Ace’s. I don’t need shit with him, no matter how hot you are.” He smirked.

“I can’t.” I mumbled.

“Why?”

“I was in a ‘accident’ so to speak. Basically they won’t let me anywhere near the fight clubs. Its driving me crazy. I’m physically having withdrawal. I need...”

“Ya I get it. You can come here, but leave Ace’s kid at home. I don’t need him here.” He growled the last part. “You will be safe, no one will touch you.”

“Ok. “ I answered. Sounding more like a question.
