Alex's POV:
I woke up the next morning startled by thunder, i looked over at the clock and it was 8:30. I sighed and tryed to fall back asleep but then another bolt of thunder shook the house and i jumped and fell out of bed. I groaned and got up and went out to the livingroom and saw Sophie sitting on the couch looking through a magazine and listening to her ipod.
"Hey babe" i said sitting next to her and i pulled her earphone out
"Hey" she said
"So this storm is crazy isnt it?" i said
"Is it getting bad?, i couldnt tell, i put my ipod on right after the first bolt of thunder" she said
"Smart. So what are you looking through?" i asked
"Wedding magazine" she said
"Oh my gosh!, i never called my parents and told them about the engagment!" i said laughing
"Me neither!, but i was thinking we call them all tonght like do a three way call with them tonight and tell them" she said
"Sounds good to me" i asked
"Awesome!, i cant wait to see how they react" she said
"Yeah im excited" i said
"Mhmm. Now i have a question" she said
"Ask away" i said
"Taylor texted me not to long ago and asked if we wanna go with her and Luke to do some shopping for Bridget before tommarow. I said i'd go and i'd ask you, so wanna join?" she asked
"Uhmmm sure" i said
"Great!" she said
I poured some cereal and ate fast before getting in the shower. After i got out of the shower i put on some clothes. A little while later Luke and Taylor came to pick us up and we went to Gymboree to buy some clothes.
"What about this?" i said holding up a sweater
"Its really hot out i dont think she need that just yet" Sophie said
"Yeah plus what size is that?" Luke said
"Uhmm 5" i said
"Thats to big dude" he said
"Damn" i said
"So where are we gonna go for a bed?" Sophie asked
"I actually talked to my mom about this when i told her about us adopting, i asked where to get a bed and i guess she still has my brothers so were gonna pick that up after were done here. She also has some of my toys so thats good" Taylor said
"Awesome, that'll save you lots of money" she said
We finished up at gymboree and went over to Taylors parents house to get the bed and the toys. After we picked up all the stuff we went back to their house, i helped Luke carry in the peices to the bed and Sophie and Taylor carried the toys. We set everything down in Bridgets room and me and Luke were left to put the bed together. We finished pretty quick.
"Yay its finished!" i said
"Yep" he said
"Now to try it out, here i'll try" i said and attempted to jump on it but Luke grabbed my arm
"Dont! you'll break it!" he said
"Fine be a party pooper!" i said
"Guys were finished" Luke yelled
"Awww awesome!, thanks babe" Taylor said hugging Luke
"No problem" Luke said
"Hey i helped to dont i get a hug!?" Alex said
"Of course!, thanks Alex" Taylor said
"Your welcome" he said
"Now all we have to do is unpack the toys but i can do that later" Taylor said
"Yeah well i think when you do that you should get rid of this" i said holding up a doll with long black hair and this creepy smile on its face
"No way! i love Cindy, ive had her since i was like 10" Taylor said
"Eww you named it!?" i said
"Yes" she said grabbing it from me and hugging it
"Creepy" i said and Sophie nodded
"That thing always creeped me out" Sophie said
"I know and it talks remember" Taylor said and pulled a string and it started talking
"Ahhhh! thats so weird!" i said
After we finished helping Luke and Taylor with everything we went home to call our parents. We called my parents first and then we called Sophies and put the phone on speaker.
"So is everyone there?" Sophie asked
"Yes" everyone said
"Okay well we have some good news" she said
"Your pregnant!" her mom said
"No! thats not it" she said
"Then what is it?" her mom asked
"Were engaged!" we both said and everyone got excited
"Congradulations hunny" my mom said
"Thanks mom" i said and everyone else congradulated us
Im so glad everyones happy for us!...
